Shore Shack is a newly construction timber frame cabin on the Atlantic Ocean. Beautiful views and direct oceanfront. A Sandy beach within walking distance (at the end of Sand Beach road). The town of Liverpool is a five minute drive away. Very private! Whitepoint, Carter's and Summerville beach all a short drive away. A four person hot tub was added in March 2022. Our stay at Mallard at Church Lake was fantastic! The A-frame design is stunning with beautiful decor throughout. The kitchen setup was perfect, and we loved using the outdoor grill for lakeside meals. As birding enthusiasts, we added many new species to our Life List and learned fascinating details about mallard duck behavior and life cycles. The location is a nature lover's dream. What really set this property apart were the excellent accessibility features (wheelchair ramp, no-threshold shower, seamless floor transitions, etc., which accommodated our disabilities. The hosts were communicative before and during our stay, making everything seamless. We enjoyed canoeing and paddleboarding during the day and incredible stargazing at night under clear skies. This property offers the perfect blend of comfort, accessibility, and natural beauty. We'd absolutely stay again and highly recommend it to other travellers, especially those needing accessible accommodations!

Great place. One of my favorites that I have stayed at. Private and peaceful (make sure that is what you are looking for). We went for a staycation style and just enjoyed the views of the water and cooking at the place. We went out to dinner a couple of times, once was an hour round trip, and the other was a two-hour round trip -- we knew this going in, so no complaints. We would be open to going again in the future perhaps with another couple as the place is set up perfectly with nearly identical master suites with their own bathrooms and an additional third bathroom on the floor with the living room/dining/kitchen area—just a great innovative design and set-up with awesome windows and views. The hosts were also attentive to our needs and even left a nice surprise to welcome us after our long drive. I would highly recommend it.

Tidal Bliss: cozy cottage on ever-changing river

This is our second year returning to Wallace’s place and again we loved it. It feels like you’re at home as soon as you drive into the property! Our family of 3 & one 75 lb dog managed out just fine here as our main focus was the beach & camp fires! Even tho there are neighbours on either side the space is still super private! You can paddle and swim in the river & Summerville beach is right there as well! We highly recommend this spot if you want to turn off (still have wifi), relax & enjoy the outdoors!
