Holiday rentals with a fireplace in White Carniola

You arrive and immediately feel comfortable. A wonderful, peaceful, very quiet place with a very special flair. The house is perfectly furnished and offers everything you could ever want. The garden is a dream and you are surrounded by a beautiful forest. This was certainly one of the best places I've ever booked. This is such a place you'd rather never leave. The village of Griziane with a shop and a small bar is not far from the house and you are in Grikvenica on the house beach in 10 minutes where there are a number of restaurants and shops. We did a lot and explored a lot and it was wonderful to return to this special place every time. Maya was very responsive and very nice and likeable and she gave us many tips. The wellness retreat was a real getaway in Slovenia! The place was spotless and surrounded by beautiful nature. The little town had a supermarket with everything you need. The house was beautiful and had a lot of facilities. We made good use of the big and well-equipped kitchen, indoors and outdoors. A BBQ and outdoor stone oven to make real summer meals! The saunas were a real addition to our holiday. Igor always replied really fast to our questions and text and was a very welcoming person.

We loved our stay at Goričice, everything from the surrounding beautiful nature, the comfort of the accommodation which had everything we needed to the incredibly kind and helpful host. The experience was true Slovenian hospitality at its best.

Ines was an excellent host. Everything has completely satisfied us. The house is beautiful, with a great pool and quiet location. Perfect for switching off. Ines is always available and very helpful.

If you're looking for a place to take a break from your fast-paced life, you're here! Clean, tidy, with lots of natural amenities in the area. I recommend to everyone except those who have a problem that the stairs to the sleeping area are steep, and the ones that lead to the bathroom are narrow and spiral. We're happy, we'll be back on another occasion! :)

The host is friendly and considerate. It is easy to communicate and the check-in was smooth. The accommodation environment is very good and quiet. The room is clean, sanitary and bright. It is worth staying again and strongly recommend to friends.

Me and my family had a good stay at Ursula; despite the bad weather we still enjoyed spending time surrounded by nature. I would recommend this place during summer when the sun's out, as I think the atmosphere would be much more appreciated. There's also a hot tub that makes the stay even more relaxing. Overall Ursula has everything you need for all your necessities and I'd suggest it to anyone who wants to taste the fresh mountain air.

There were three of us at Ana's, the apartment is clean and as described. We were greeted personally on site. Communication was easy and straightforward. The sea is within walking distance, down the mountain. We were very satisfied with everything. Highly recommended.

We travelled with my brother, we arrived late at night and they were waiting for us to welcome us, and give us recommendations. They are very warm and we loved spending the night there. The apartment is comfortable, has everything you need and wonderful views from the terrace. It was perfect for us. It's 20 minutes from the city, but I repeat, we loved being in a quiet area and listening to the birds at dawn :)

Couldn't have wished for a more. Eva's apartment lies close to the centre of Ljubljana and yet is not overly noisy. There are lots of cosy, intimate restaurants within a few minutes walk in this beautiful, friendly city and we found Eva's recommendations 'spot on' for our tastes. We were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary and absolutely loved the setting and meal at the Strelec restaurant in the Archers Tower, within the walls of Ljubljana castle. There's so much to do and see in and around the city with the weekends busy with outdoor markets and food festivals. We hired a car for the week and once again found all the attractions we wanted to visit within an hours journey. A very romantic, welcoming and beautiful place ...

Eva's place is beautiful and very well located. The area is full of houses, trees and you hear the birds each morning plus get to see a nice sunrise and sunset. More there is LIDL 3 minutes away so it's more than convenient. If you want to get to the city you can take the bus, 3 minutes from the building, or you can walk, around 20 minutes. I highly recommend Eva's place and we would definitely return.

We have a great stay. We spend less days than we had planned cause of a family situation. Pero was very kind and his dad as well. The view is amazing, you can have breakfast on the terras and sit till late in the evening comfortable outside. The kitchen is big and the living spacious, a good bathroom and good beds. I hope someday we can come back.

Jerini is amazing! A beautiful blend of old and new - it’s even better than the photos. We were really comfortable, had everything we needed. cooked with the BBQ and used the pool, hot tub and sauna every day. This was a ‘babymoon’ holiday for us and it was just the relaxing break we were looking for. With a hire car we were able to visit all the towns on Krk and restaurants and supermarkets are near by, too. We would definitely visit again!

The villa was absolutely amazing - beautiful, comfortable and modern. It was also perfect for our dog, with a large garden enclosed by a stone wall. Communication with the host was excellent - friendly and responsive. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay.

Everything was pretty much as expected. Jakob was super easy to communicate with. It was pretty centrally located for all we planned to do on arrival and for day trips. The pictures more than did justice to what we found. It was very relaxing and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The castle area in Kastov was very nice, with great food and a nice place to wind down the night. Overall, a wonderful vacation to a place we’d never been.

The house is very clean and perfectly equipped. Igor was quick and reliable to answer any questions we had. The check-in was friendly and we received all the important information. Overall, the communication as well as the house were excellent!

Perfect for a relaxing holiday with your dog(s) Large, super nice, fenced property – ideal for travellers with dogs. The accommodation is super well equipped, has everything you need for a holiday and offers a beautiful view. Parking directly at the house and everything you need can be reached in 20 minutes. The street is audible - sometimes more, sometimes less - but for us it was not disturbing. The landlord was super friendly, had even provided sweets in the fridge and gave us great restaurant tips. Earlier check-in was also possible without any problems. All around a successful stay! THANK YOU for that :)

Just really a lovely holiday. I was there with 3 grown up kids 18,20 and 21. Perfect place. Absolutely need a car but Crikvencia was just a 10 - 15 min drive and we popped there every day for groceries, restaurants and an afternoon at the beach. Andreja was just lovely and the place impeccable. Highly recommended.
