Great facilities and a touch of luxury with all new amenities. Self-contained unit but a shared backyard with the attached house. We are on the outskirts of PN - a 10 minute drive to the centre of town. 5 minutes to airport. Walking distance to supermarket, wetland walkways and parks. 15 minutes to Feilding or the acclaimed Gorge walk

Tranquil Open Outlook, Complimentary Breakfast

Our home is set on the city boundary just 8 minutes from the City Centre, 5 minutes from Palmerston North Hospital, 15 minutes to Massey University and very well positioned for walking, tramping and biking tracks around the Manawatu . Our modern home is on 2.5 acres and surrounded by open countryside with great views to the windmills and just outside the apartment, we have a lovely Highland cow named Toffee who shares the paddock with some Wiltshire sheep, an interesting self shearing breed.

Connected to my glass art studio is a bright, secluded visitors suite with a double bedroom, bathroom en suite, and off street parking. There is a fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, and a section of hot drinks as well as free wifi and Chromecast. A private sanctuary at the end of a cul de sac halfway between the city and Massey giving you easy access to local amenities. My garden hosts a lovely family of Tui who tumble and chat as they enjoy their feeders and the established native trees.

This accomodation is in a secluded country area but only 15mins from the centre of Palmerston North city and only 5 minutes from the Palmerston North air port. The dwelling consists of an open plan kitchen dining lounge area, a seperate bedroom with a queen size bed and a seperate bathroom consisting of a toilet shower and vanity unit. There is also a fold out couch in the lounge which turns into a double bed .We have chocolate lab dog Tui who roams freely around the property and is friendly

I enjoyed my second stay at Hewitt’s Homestead. The bedroom was great. It’s a loverly old house. The setting is peaceful and quiet with a beautiful garden. I would recommend this as somewhere to stay if you needed to go to Massey University or Palmerston North.

This was our very first use of an AirBnB. We were a little disconcerted to find so many personal effects in the room, and in the bathroom (unlike a motel - our usual travel accommodation) but we assumed that this is the nature of AirBnB. Our hosts were perfectly charming, and very helpful. We are happy to recommend this accommodation.

“Beautiful stay with a view!” Me and my wife stayed for one night and loved it. The house is new, clean, and surrounded by beautiful plants that made it feel fresh and cozy. The view from the property is stunning — we could see Mount Ruapehu clearly! A peaceful and refreshing place to relax. Highly recommended!
