Chalet holiday rentals in Wawona

We had a wonderful time here for a family trip for my mom’s 60th birthday. Elizabeth was a fantastic host who provided quick feedback and tons of recommendations about bass lake and Yosemite which was very helpful! Couldn’t recommend this place enough and look forward to staying again next time we’re in the area!

Lovely spot and a super convenient location close to Pine Mt. Lake and Yosemite. Incredibly peaceful. Easy check-in/check-out process. Laurie was attentive, accommodating, and communicated well. My questions were answered within an hour or so. Thank you Laurie for a great stay!

This place was amazing! Great location inside the park. We cooked all of our meals at the house. Had everything we needed. We would stay here again and will recommend this home to our friends.

Nice place, I love vaulted ceilings and interesting spaces. Had all the basics for cooking - we like cooking ourselves on trips like this. Bring your own oils and spices. It has a game room that we didn't even use, just looked it over on our way out!

Loved our stay! We travelled with our pup and 10 month old son. We already want to go back! Location: 15 min from town and Yosemite Park Entrance The Resort: BEAUTIFUL! Few casual restaurants, a bar, fine dining, gas station, and market are all on sight! All the staff we spoke with were extremely friendly and helpful as well. Room: Exactly as described! The kitchen was fully equipped and we cooked our entire stay. The hotel provided a baby gate and a pack and play for our son which was great! Warning: The walls are PAPER THIN. You can hear a lot next door and almost everything from downstairs. I could hear my husband tapping his fingers on the kitchen counter from the bathroom downstairs lol. We got a noise complaint called on us at 8pm and we were just getting our sons last giggles out before bed bed. The floors creek really loud so from downstairs it sounds like a bunch of popping. We didn’t mind these things at all but something to consider if you’re a light sleeper.

This cabin was perfect for our trip to Yosemite! 1hr/15 mins into the Valley, perfect distance if you can’t stay in the park. Groveland had everything we needed for our trip, and the cabin was so well stocked! Plenty of towels, extra pillows and blankets, and kitchen items. The deck was amazing and where our group of 9 spent most of our time! Overall 10/10 experience and would definitely recommend.

We would give John and this beautiful home 10 stars if we could! We were blown away by John's hospitality, the beauty and the location of the property. Communication with John was easy, efficient and thorough from start to finish. The home was spotless and the kitchen incredibly well stocked and very easy for us to cook all of our meals in. The location was absolutely perfect for our time in Yosemite -- centrally located to everything we had planned and so nice to be staying inside of the park - completely avoiding the long lines to get inside the park each day. The welcome basket full of goodies was such a nice touch. Also, we have stayed in A LOT of airbnbs over the years, and never have we stayed someplace that provided more than enough towels, toilet paper, paper towels and kleenex - as John did. Thank you! It was so nice to not have to ration every item! The little toiletry trays in each bathroom were also above and beyond! HIGHLY recommend. Thank you again John & Co.!

My family and I loved this cabin and wished we would have stayed longer! It’s considered to be located inside Yosemite National Park in Wawona which is away from the busier Yosemite Valley where most tourists stay (roughly about 1 hour drive). Glacier Point Lookout is also roughly an hour to get to depending on the traffic. The distance doesn’t matter much when the drive is peaceful and the views are breathtaking. The cabin itself was immaculate! We felt right at home with everything we could ever need and amazing comforts. An unexpected surprise was the proximity to the Chilnualna waterfall trailhead which was a beautiful experience. If I ever go back to Yosemite with a group, I’ll be checking to see if this property is available. Worth the splurge!

A beautiful home close to the national park. Clean, spacious, well decorated, and well stocked. Peaceful neighborhood in a beautiful setting.

What can I say about this place. Everything was great. My family and I had a blast! Upon our entrance we found everything clean, organized, small little reminders to keep the house clean, and spacious! Definitely worth the stay. Ken was very responsible host, attentive, friendly, and very clear about questions and instructions we had. Ken made our first Airbnb experience unforgettable.
