The Monroe Street Cottage is perfectly located within minutes of downtown Decorah, the Upper Iowa River, Pulpit Rock Brewery, the Whippy Dip, and so much more! It is the perfect retreat to slow down and relax. The cottage features a living room, kitchen, 1 bedroom with a queen bed, 1 full bathroom, washer/dryer, grill, and private outdoor space. Snuggle up in this cozy little home away from home. Adventure out on a short walk to our downtown area, or stay in & kick your feet up. Enjoy a scenic drive from this central location to visit popular surrounding towns such as Decorah (home to Luther College) or Fayette (home to Upper Iowa University). This home consists of a living room, dining room, full kitchen, bathroom with tub/shower, laundry room and bedroom on the main level with a bedroom & sitting area upstairs. NO SMOKING PLEASE

Authentic Grain Bin in the middle of a corn field!

Authentic 19' grain bin has a loft with 2 full-size beds, comfy living space with heat & A/C, bathroom with 3'x5' shower, kitchenette, vaulted ceiling. WiFi available but you’re basically inside a tin can in a cornfield so reception is NOT GREAT (hence NO TV.) A gas grill, picnic table & 4 Adirondack chairs surround your fire pit. All on the grounds of a winery & vineyard surrounded by 300 acres of corn! Volga Lake State Rec Area adjacent w/a lake for paddling, fishing, & miles of trails.

Create and tell stories while sitting under the stars next to the crackling campfire. Do your morning yoga by the babbling stream. Hike the trails. Soak up the sun on the sandy beach while listening to the waterfall. Laugh and splash your kiddos in our pond. Beach chairs, sand toys, floaties, kayaks, and more.

Honeybee Cottage at Star's Hollow

Honeybee Cottage is located next to our own beach/lake & 140 acres of beautifully groomed public nature trails. It is creatively decorated & full of amenities, including a coffee/tea bar. Make use of the games/books/DVDs that are provided. Feed the cows, read a book on the beach, take a hike or mountain bike in the trails, nap on the porch, fish for bluegills in our lake, race the pig, skip rocks/canoe in the creek, have a bonfire (S'mores provided) & stargaze the evening sky!

Lake House sleeps (16+) Boat Rental & Beach

Nov-April: Sleeps 15 in the house (no heat in barn) May-Oct: Sleeps 16+ (AC in the UP BARN) This Spacious Lake Front Home is perfect for the whole family with full service Amenities! Enjoy an acre of land, 4 bdrm house + bunkroom. 1st floor of barn filled with games, & ample seating. Enjoy the waterfront w/ dock, boat slip, swing & fire pit. The outdoor bball court, frisbee course, sand volleyball, splash pad, playground to entertain. (Extra fee applies to groups over 16)

Hill Top House

Located .5 miles from the Upper Iowa River, Hilltop house has the most perfect view. The house sleeps 8, but we welcome and encourage smaller groups as well. This location has 2 bathrooms, a relaxing loft and the most dreamy porch. *WARNING* When booking in the winter be aware of our driveway shown in the picture. We highly recommend 4 wheel drive. We also have a pack n play and high chair available upon request.

WHITETAIL CABIN

Decorah named most charming town in Iowa - again Decorah is one of 50 Best small towns in America. Cabin with full kitchen, bedroom with queen bed, 1 full bath, lower level has 2 futons, satellite TV, central air, extra large deck, gas grill. Less than 1 mile from Decorah's bike trail, Decorah Eagle Nest, Iowa State Fish Hatchery, 500' to snowmobile trail, fire pit with wood supplied.

Trout Creek Cabin

The cabin sits in a valley on the South Fork of the Root River. Fire pit, hot tub and 2 large patios both with outdoor dining, steps away from the trout stream make this unique property a peaceful, romantic get away. A short drive from the Root River bike trail and Lanesboro making it easy to take advantage of the best historic bluff country has to offer.
