Cozy end of the road solar powered tiny house.

Enjoy some time on the quiet side of the mountain, only 25 minutes from Stowe and Montpelier. Your more likely to hear song birds, owls, and coyotes here than traffic. Our tiny house was hand built by me from the ground up. Most of the interior pine was cut from our property and the stained glass work was created by me in my studio here next to our house. Eventually we will live in the tiny house but until that time we're sharing it with the world. We hope you'll enjoy it!

Our family, comprising six adults and a baby, thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay here during a busy (solar eclipse) weekend in April. This property is brand new. There are a number of hotel rooms on the property. We stayed at the apartment suite just above the restaurant. The apartment was quite comfortable, offering ample space. It was impeccably clean, and everything was fresh and new. The convenience of having the restaurant just below was a definite highlight, making dining options easily accessible. We could hear noise from the restaurant in the evening but it did not wake our baby or impair our stay. There is a nice waterfall on the property. Proximity to Sugarbush was very good. Our hosts, TJ and Johnny, for the most part, were attentive and responsive. There was no TV in the unit or dressers in the rooms (we were told they may be adding a TV in the future). There was a bluetooth speaker for music. Our overall experience was excellent and we wholeheartedly recommend

Spent a long weekend at Mary’s place skiing at Sugarbush (the rental is also close to several other resorts). It was perfect with 2 bedrooms, 1 bath and a small but functional kitchen and living space with a tons of books and games to pass the time. The second level deck that overlooks the cute town of Moretown was a nice bonus. The place exuded a simple, bucolic quintessential New England character and is eclectically charming. Would love to return to experience other seasons. To top it all off, Mary was a pleasure, accessible and helpful as needed.

Really enjoyed the stay! House was very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed to enjoy our meals. The big kitchen table was perfect for dining and socializing. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were very clean and updated. Very close the skiing.

Wow! This is truly a one-of-a-kind place. Ward's home is a delightful space and the location is unbeatable. The house is perched right over a roaring stream -- it's absolutely beautiful. Despite being a short walk into downtown Waterbury (and its many fantastic restaurants), the property feels incredibly private, as it's tucked away from the road and other houses, and the sound from the stream drowns out most other noise. This is a perfect place to relax.

Exactly as described -- a simple, quiet getaway. No TV and lots of lamp light to read from was great. It was simple, the bed was firm and great for the back. It's a very simple set-up as Julia will tell you and as long as you are in search of simple, no-frills, and cozy, this will do the trick very nicely. I brought my own comforter and sheets as I was going to be there a few weeks and this was also something I'd recommend if you have strong bedding preferences. The Internet was EXCELLENT. I was taking work video calls throughout the day and it never failed once. Very reliable. A great place to get away, be a stone's throw from Stowe and trails (even just across the street is a good little walk in the woods with the dog).
