Outdoor spa room is perfect for those hot summer days. 60% of the property is bush which has a 5km track to walk or ride in your own private bush. At night get the board games out, or sit by the indoor fire and put on Netflix. Coonabarabran is 35mins. Coolah is 25mins.

Castlereagh Cottage is a recently renovated 4 bed home nestled in the heart of Mendooran. A fireplace and firepit outside ensures a beautiful country ambience. Full kitchen including a coffee machine, laundry facilities and the super comfy beds can be kings or singles. A spacious block of 1/2 acre allows ample parking and the back deck is great for a cuppa to listen to the morning bird life or a social evening with a beer or wine. You will feel right at home as soon as you walk through the picket fence and step into Peppertree House. Open the yellow door to a home that combines the perfect balance of its 1910's origins with the comforts of a modern renovation. Take the opportunity to have your morning coffee on the front verandah or a picnic in the big enclosed backyard. Exceptionally located on a large block in the middle of town, it is only a short stroll from the Main Street, local cafes and the Bucking Bull Hotel.

The Old Schoolhouse

The Old Schoolhouse was originally built for the owners’ children to attend correspondence school but has since been transformed into self-catered accommodation with fully equipped kitchen and private bathroom. Experience the enchanting octagonal “fairy tale castle”, hand-crafted from local timbers. Relax and enjoy the beautiful views from the large, Swiss-style balcony, and take a shower in a hand-sculpted masterpiece! Preferably no pets in The Old Schoolhouse.

Langholm Homestead, a serene retreat in the bush.

Nestled in the iconic Pilliga Scrub is this homely retreat. Langholm is ideal for bird watching, keep an eye out for the rare Red-tailed Black Cockatoo. Take a day trip to the Warrumbungles, then after your climb, relax in the Pilliga hot bore bath, only a short drive away. Please be aware that Langholm is located on a dirt road being in a National Park ( it’s mostly all weather due to the red soil ) but has an odd pothole, AWD or 4WD vehicles are recommended.

Outside area for entertaining and plenty of grassed space for kids to play. We have 1 x double bed 1 x king bed that can convert to 2 x singles 2 x day beds 1 x fold out lounge and a king single trundle bed.
