Holiday houses in Walter F George Reservoir

We spent 4 nights together with our family. Justine’s place was perfect for the family to gather in the open living room/kitchen area. The sofas had several recliners and plenty of seating for the 11 of us. My parents use walkers and the first floor was easy for them to move about. The main floor bathrooms have walk in showers and rails in the toilet area. In addition, there were 2 lift recliners for those needing help standing from sitting position. The upstairs was great for the young adults to hang out later at night. Overall we loved Justine’s place and are planing on visiting again in the near future. Oh, the sunsets are gorgeous!! Thanks for sharing your place with our family!!

So many little “extras”, ie snacks, welcoming beers❤️, natural flowers in vase, charcoal, insect repellent, almost everything needed for cooking! They even had extra rice that we cooked up as we forgot a side for that evening! The place was a perfect peaceful getaway. The entire family loved it!

Raymond’s home was the perfect place to stay during our stay in Defuniak. We’d definitely recommend staying here. Beds were perfect. Sleep soundly. Thanks again Raymond!

We had a wonderful time here during our Cozy Retreat with the girls! The space and location were perfect for a relaxing weekend. Stephanie is a wonderful host that responded quickly to our questions. There are so many kitchen appliances and cookware that added that extra touch to our stay.

We loved the house for our stay. Close to Fort Moore. Beds were comfortable. House was clean. Enjoyed our stay, and it looked exactly like the pictures. Amy was quick to respond when I needed to add an additional night to our stay.

Shirley’s place was absolutely perfect! At short notice we had to evacuate our home due to hurricane Helene. We found the listing for Shirley’s place and within hours we were safe from the storm. From comfy beds to a well equipped kitchen to a fenced back yard, we had everything we needed. Shirley was in touch and helpful throughout our stay. We would definitely stay here again. Super close to the zoo, but we didn’t get a chance to go. Maybe next time!

Jan & Jack place was personable,felt like we were at home. Well stocked, attention to detail. The place was well maintained. The beds were very comfortable and the fishing station set-up was awesome! I would recommended this Airbnb to anyone looking for a layed back relaxing vacation getaway. thanks Jan & Jack!!!
