Please use our kitchen for simple cooking. The nearest stations are Oji Station on the JR Line and Goido Station on the Kintetsu Line. I'll come pick you up until 5pm. Please use the bus to return home. There is a bus stop nearby. If you are arriving by car, there is parking available on site. 創業は1957年、祖父「田内栄一」が和歌山県田辺市の文化発展のため「愛和荘」という旅館を営んでいました。その歴史と伝統を守り続けるため、孫である「喜重子」が2021年に屋号を復活しオープン致しました。 上野山城跡に建つ当宿は、床の間がある純日本家屋です。和室２室でゆっくりお過ごしください。田辺市街を一望できる高台に宿がございますので、朝は朝日を、夕方は夕焼けを、夜は夜景をお楽しみ頂けます。風が穏やかな日は桂離宮の月見台をイメージして作った檜のウッドデッキの上で、縁側の藤の椅子にかけてティータイムもオススメです。 この度新設したお風呂、トイレはバリアフリーで広さを取ってありますので、一緒に入浴したり、介助が必要な方でも楽にお使い頂けます。 和室の１室にpopin.aladdin(プロジェクタ付照明）を設置しました。襖に投影し テレビや音楽、映画などをご覧頂けます。朝お出かけの前にyoutubeでBGMなどをお楽しみください。 宿の隣に両親、田内喜三、淑子（日本人）が住んでおりますので、何かありましたらいつでもお声掛けください。

A newly renovated machiya town house with typical layout and a small garden, retaining the tradition of Naramachi - the old merchant town of Nara. Easy access via bus and train, supermarket, restaurants, convenience store, bakery, and a Japanese bath house just minutes away. This house belonged to a famous wood carver of "ittobori" - a traditional Nara technique of carving the wood. A projector and a record player will make your stay even more pleasant. Enjoy!
