This is a great place to stay at Lake Tekapo, it’s just tucked away from all the crowds and new developments and feels like a genuine escape! The log burner made the place cozy and the outside tub was lovely, sadly no stars for us as heavy cloud cover. A really nice place to stay with little touches of luxury.

Maxene’s place is a dream stay and one of the most beautiful Airbnb we’ve experienced 😇 The ocean view from the living room is truly top-level, making every moment inside feel like a retreat. Just one minute down the private stairs to the beach, you’ll find yourself completely lost in the magic of hanging out with sea seals and soaking in the peaceful beauty of the coastline 🦭 The house itself is cozy, beautifully designed, and thoughtfully prepared, offering the perfect balance of comfort and nature. The kitchen is well-equipped, the bed is incredibly comfortable, and every detail makes you feel at home. This is the kind of place where you can truly reset, slow down, and be present. Maxene is a super kind host, always making sure everything is right for her guests. Her warmth and thoughtfulness made our stay even more special ❤️ If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature, this is the perfect place. We're already dreaming of coming back. Very clean and perfect homestay, very full kitchenware.Easy parking, only a few hundred meters from the Shepherd's Church.The kitchen has a toaster, microwave, dishwasher, gas hob in Haier, oven in Haier, Refrigerator in Haier.. The bathroom has a drying rack, electric blanket on the bed, washing machine, dryer all.All needed items can be easily found in the cupboard, highly recommended ~

This is a quintessential family batch, it oozes love out of every corner. Every thing you need is there, we are always very prepared but if you are not like us then you will find the basics accounted for. The view is just amazing, you could just spend the day watching the surfers and walkers on the beach, the weather change or just the waves roll in. Easy walk to the beach and a car ride or 40min walk to the cafe/dairy. The best part for us is being dog friendly, be mindful that it is not fenced for doggies so you have to watch them, ours is like Velcro so had no issues. I would totally recommend if you need to find a place to decompress and enjoy a holiday home that has roots deep set in family.

We had a fantastic time here. The cube is beautifully appointed, spacious and cozy all wrapped into one. The views are spectacular, it has everything you need. The beds are so unbelievably comfortable, to the point I'm trying to recreate the set up at home. The beaches and surrounds are amazing in whatever weather. We just didn't book for long enough.
