Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Waimate District

We absolutely adore this home and property, this is the third time we have stayed here and we will continue to do so when we visit Otematata. If you’re looking for a quintessential kiwi Bach which is cosy, clean and tidy then look no further. The outdoor area is amazing for a cold beverage or morning cuppa and the BBQ is great. Lesley is a great host and we can’t thank her enough for having us in her great Bach.

Fantastic spot to enjoy the amazing location around the lakes and McKenzie District and of course Maadi Cup! A great house that had everything we needed in a very quiet and scenic place.

A rainy weekend away and Rachael's place did not disappoint. Plenty of games to play and spacious area to entertain.

Great stay, wonderful to be able to park our car and trailer off the street. Very quiet neighbourhood and nice outside space. The kitchen is really well stocked with everything you need to cook a good meal. There are extra touches like a mark on the shower mixer to show exactly where to dial to to get the perfect hot water for the shower.

We had a wonderful stay at Jan’s place. We loved all of the details and the interesting art, books and furniture. It felt really homely and there were lots of helpful and thoughtful touches. The beds were all really comfortable with lovely fresh linen. Jan was an incredible host who really made sure that our stay was enjoyable. She was accommodating with a few last minute changes and always responded to messages promptly. We will definitely be booking a stay at Jans the next time we are in Otematata.

This House was simply perfect for our glorious Anzac weekend holiday. Honestly faultless Large ,spotless,warm and sunny. Ample space to store groceries in laundry and kitchen and useful extensive pantry full of little extras such as Gladwrap and serving bowls ,salt and pepper!Teabags and coffee Great supply of kitchen utensils and amenities…copious cutlery The generous linen was exceptionally good quality and extremely warm ,soft and cosy!And being well fenced the property was ideal for keeping our small dog safe and happy… Very peaceful location but close enough to stroll to the shopping area and excellent Hotel close by.

Great location to town and small park, all just a block away. Kitchen was setup nicely. large refrigerator. easy checkout. Nick flower outside, great sunset and sunrise.

Great little house to stay. We were only there one night but plenty of walking and biking trails around the house. The house was nice and warm when we arrived late in the evening!

We had a beautiful stay in Otematata, very peaceful and clean - exactly as described in the listing! Nice touches too; a selection of teas, plenty of extra blankets, and a well equipped kitchen. This place is such great value, and I’d love to come back! Thanks Robyn and Ross :)

Great place to stay and a beautiful location.

Place was exactly what we needed to break up our drive. Moragh was fantastic, and we really appreciated them leaving the lights on for us as we were arriving after dark. We particularly liked the little touch of Easter chocolates! Thanks again for having us ☺️

We absolutely loved our stay here. Sandra is an incredible host and had thought of everything to make our stay even more comfortable. The breakfast goodies left for us were amazing especially the free range eggs. The bed was amazing and the extra pillows provided was next level. Would definitely stay here again next time we visit Waimate

This was a great place to stay to explore the area. Very comfortable and super clean and warm. Kathy has thought of everything that guests would need without the place feeling cluttered. Despite being part of a complex, it was also very quiet and peaceful & felt private. A short walk from everything in Otematata.
