Holiday rentals with beach access in Waikuku

This location in Akaroa is perfect. The view from the deck could be a painting you would hang in your living room. The layout of the apartment and decorations are very nice, obviously an owner with good taste. The town has plenty of good restaurants and the setting is soft and romantic. This was our second time to rent this 2 bedroom unit and we would never stay anywhere else.

We had a wonderful time at Denise and Regs place and they made us very welcome. Wonderful spot, beautiful garden and great trail path which was such fun to explore. Accommodation was perfect and all we wanted and would have love to stay longer. Loved the local area so picturesque and beautiful

Fantastic stay at Lana’s place. Great location right opposite the beach, but the icing on the cake was all the thoughtful touches and the attention to detail…..All those little things you need… she had thought of them all. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay. We will definitely be recommending this cute wee place to all our friends.

A lovely apartment, great location and Jackie had excellent communication. She even let us know that the apartment was ready early so we could check in sooner, which was a big help.

What a wonderful place to stay- and wonderful hosts too! Comfortable, cozy and had everything we needed. Great location as well - next to green spaces and near the ocean. Very easy to get into the city too. Can easily recommend to others.

The Airbnb is nice and pretty big with views of the bay. It has a lot of amenities that a lot of our other airbnbs didn’t have. It had a dedicated filtered water tap, a dryer (most Airbnb’s in NZ only have washers), electric blankets etc. Do note that the drive up to the home is relatively steep and on a gravel path, parking for a large vehicle would be quite tricky as well.

Danielle was a responsive and friendly host. We had a lovely stay and enjoyed the beautiful surrounds of Sumner and delicious bakery and bar close by!

Highly recommend Carolyn’s place. Without doubt the nicest air BnB we have stayed at during our New Zealand holiday. Immaculately clean, very comfortable and in a great location it really felt like a home from home. Feel really fortunate to have stayed here whilst Akaroa experienced a few days of very rainy weather. Hope to visit again one day!

We really enjoyed the stay at Kims place and felt very at home with space for our children. Only let down was we accidentally booked the wrong month and gave a month’s notice before we realised it was wrong dates booked and to get them changed over to the following month however Kim kept the deposit and we had to pay again so really was an inconvenience for me and my family and felt out of pocket.

We would recommend this place. We stayed here for one night as a group of four (if you're coming with four people, two of you will be sleeping on a sofa bed). The host reached out in advance to ask if we wanted the sofa bed prepared, which we confirmed. However, upon arrival, we had to set it up ourselves. We found the necessary bedding and blankets in the bedroom closet, but we weren’t entirely sure if they had been freshly changed, as they seemed slightly used. Despite that, our overall experience was positive and without major issues. The house is within walking distance of a beautiful beach and pier, which we really appreciated. Thank you for the stay!

Incredible four nights in New Brighton. We have been coming for 8 years to a local surf competition and this time was the first staying here. Lovely new apartment, central, cozy and also private. Loved every part of it and Bee was a star with the communication and helpfulness. We will definitely be back ~
