Mountain hikes on foot and on skis to Slogen, Saudehornet, Liadalsnipa, Molladalen and Melshornet (you can walk from the cabin). Close to several alpine and cross-country ski trails.

It is very centrally located with short distance to restaurants, cafes, bar, grocery stores, hairdresser and bank. Alti shopping center is 100 meters away. The marina is a 5 minute walk away. Ørsta is known for its great mountains that are suitable for both hiking and skiing. Free parking. The bus station is 5mins away. To Ørsta/Volda airport it is 3 km.

Motorboat can be rented at an additional cost, floating jetty 50 m from the house. Please let us know before arrival if you want to rent a boat.

På idylliske Sæbøneset gard ligg "Gamlehuset". Med panoramautsikt ut over dei majestetiske "Sunnmørsalpane" ligg garden som har vore i familien i fleire generasjoner. Sæbøneset gard ligg plassert i Hjørundfjorden i Ørsta kommune. "Gamlehuset" ligg plassert sentralt på gardstunet, og er utstyrt med alle fasiliteter du treng. Tunet har ingen gjennomgangstrafikk. Garden ligg like ved sjøen og har egen havn, naust, bålplass m.m., og er i gangavstand til Sæbø sentrum.

The decor is a mix of retro, old treasures and some new. Duvets and pillows are mostly new. Can get thinner if desired. We live in the countryside , our village is called Hjartåbygda, 10 min drive from Volda city center. Here, public transport is not developed, so they should dispose of their own car. Nice hiking area right out the door, marked trails. Otherwise quiet and quiet. Right by the sea, and a car is not far to many of the healthy mountains.
