A 70m2 cottage with all the charm of the old, located on the ground floor of our house, where we live, which dates from the 18th century. Private terrace with spa overlooking a large shared garden where you may come across our cats. Separate entrance. Open-plan kitchen, large living room. Very thick stone walls to keep the accommodation cool during heatwaves. Bedroom with exposed beams and a shower room. Fold-out sofa bed in the living room to accommodate 2 more people.

The Editors' Lodge

Located 10 minutes from the historic center of Sarlat and 5 minutes from the river in La Roque-Gageac, our gîte is in the heart of the most beautiful sites of the Périgord Noir. The accommodation is located in a stone farmhouse, dating from the 18th century. The name of our gîte comes from the fact that we run a small associative publishing house. Passionate about literature, photography, nature and history, we publish books, notably on the heritage of Périgord.

It offers, from each of its rooms, an unforgettable view of the river. It is located near Sarlat, La Roque-Gageac but also the famous Lascaux caves and the castle of Milandes. It is not suitable for young children and very old people (stairs).

You will appreciate my accommodation because the villa is nestled in a private estate on the southern heights of Sarlat, very spacious and comfortable, air-conditioned and perfectly equipped. Panoramic view of the countryside. My place is good for couples, solo travelers and families (with kids). The pool is heated from May to September.

On the forest side and in the heart of a set of two traditional Périgord houses, the calm is total and the place lends itself to positive introspection, alone or as a couple. Just one essential in winter: throw a few logs in the stove, and turn on the fan in summer if you like it. 2 bedrooms are available in the accommodation.

Maison Romane is an invitation to slow down ! walfk to the gardens of Marqueyssac (200m) or explore the castles of Castelnaud and Beynac... or admire them form your terrasse !
