Holiday rentals with a patio in Viseu

What can we say.. We spent a glorious, relaxed week here at the end of August, a truly special place a beautifully renovated original stone house with high ceilings and original features. Paul was a generous, friendly and knowledgeable host, and the views are spectacular. Apartment 3 was a good size for our family of 5 (kids 17, 14, 11) comfy beds, en suites for each bedroom and a stunning balcony. The pool was an extra treat, beautiful, and again with panoramic views across the valley. Oh, and the WiFi was speedy too. Brace yourself for the drive, it gets easier and it’s 100% worth it! Would happily and heartily recommend ❤️

Large space, good rooms, cleaning, utensils and small appliances, direct access to walk, friendliness and readiness of the owner. The house is elevated, on top of commercial space.

For the place itself this would be a 4-star review because some things which were important for us were missing. But because of Susan's availability and proneness to improve, I decided to give it a 5-star instead. While the apartment is cosy and has most of the basics one needs for short stays, it was also missing some things which we repute important for our working from and cooking at home. Such as firm table, a comfortable chair and more utensils for the kitchen. The place is great if you want to have time for yourself in simplicity, especially because the general curated atmosphere really supports this, but not that much if you work from home and like to cook at home. That said I'm sure that Susan will take care in the future of arranging these aspects better with her guests.

Ideal solution for those who want to live a quiet stay and in a secluded and authentic village. Upon arrival, we are very well received, and for us who do not speak the language of the country, our host is charming and speaks French very well. She is very attentive and always available to answer our questions. The place is great . Bright and spacious, comfortable, everything is of high quality. Outside, several terraces The heated pool is obviously a plus in an enclosed garden. Three small details that may be important we were “alone” which was perfect for us. At other times, there may be promiscuity as there are two accommodations that are for rent (but there are two swimming pools). Several stairs so beware of people with reduced mobility and for shopping nothing in the village allow 20 mins for the 1st supermarket 6 kms away. in short we are delighted with our week!

Great cleaning and good housing conditions are highlighted. lady pink is an honest, transparent, responsible person who helps whenever it is needed. the location is very good. It is not necessary to use the car in everyday life. The building is quiet and most often quiet.

Beautiful and cozy mto accommodation, could have more towels for when one was wet to use another.

Lovely night's stay in a neat property tucked into a remote village. We found sweet treats waiting for us as well, which was a kind gesture!

What a wonderful little estate setting to stay at. Beautiful surroundings all around, very private & peaceful. The apartment has a great layout with spectacular bathrooms and a huge kitchen & living room area. Carlos was quick to respond to any questions. The inground pool is lovely, sadly the weather was not hot enough for a dip. Great location with a quick 90min drive to Porto. Surrounding cities within 30 minutes like Viseu.

Very nice place! Cozy rustic house with vintage furniture. It's like visiting my grandmother's place! Very clean. Comfortable beds. Nice kitchen. Friendly and helpful host. Quickly responded to all our requests. We are very happy with the time we spent in this house. The only downside is the rooster neighborhood. He started screaming at four o'clock in the morning.

Very pleasant space in contact with nature and with great comfort. Carlos and his wife are extremely friendly and helpful. The houses are very well-equipped, with everything you need to spend some wonderful days. We greatly appreciated the porch and barbecue area, as well as the promenade by the brook.

We loved our stay. Susana and Marco are wonderful people. The accomodations were clean and well stocked. They were very responsive to any questions we asked. The area is gorgeous. There is a beautiful walking, bike path just a minute away. The Termas are just a 10-20 minute walk. The unit is better than the pictures show. They went above and beyond taking my travel mate to the post office to retrieve her phone she left behind because the day before Susana went to the PO to get it and her name wasn't on the package to retrieve it. The only issue is Google doesn't seem to have their address pinged right which is not in any way their fault. When we couldn't find it they drove to us and escorted us to their place. My only minor negative comment is the beds are a bit too hard for me personally.
