Big Stone Gap was the perfect location as we visited the area state parks: Natural Tunnel, Clinch River, Grayson Highlands and Southwest Museum. We truly enjoyed Turkey Cottage and Diana’s hospitality. We took advantage of the kitchen to cook several meals and loved how thoughtfully stocked and decorated the place was. Would love to come back to the area to visit other local natural wonders and rest here in between enjoying the porch swing and mountain views.

This was a cute cozy house with a newly renovated bathroom. Nice ceramic flooring in the bath. Beds were comfortable. The fire alarm bracket was in the living room, but there was not a smoke detector. We really enjoyed the place. However, the kitchen sink and the shower shelf were not clean.

We loved our stay! The cabin was perfect to get out in nature but also have amenities for our young kids. The inside is beautifully crafted and the views are so neat! You can tell they designed this with a lot of attention to detail so that guests can enjoy every view inside the house. We brought our 4,2, and 2 month old and they had plenty to do around the cabin and it was only 15 minutes from some fun shopping and eating places. We loved the record player, loft area, outside net, and hot tub. Perfect get-a-way from the city but not too far from things to do! We would love to go back again in the future!
