The cabin is idyllically located with panoramic views of the beautiful village of Førde, the fjord and even much further. Although the cabin is located on top of a hill, it is located on a farm, where sheep and lambs graze nearby. The cabin has a distinctive character, is more than 100 years old and has, among other things, a large, carved Viking ship model hanging from the ceiling. The entire cabin was restored a few years ago and then got modern equipment such as a new bathroom with heating cables and a new kitchen with all the necessary equipment.

Unique charming cabin with private beach.

Enjoy birdsong among the oak trees on the property, and feel your heart rate slow down, for young and old. Here you can experience the Knausen cabin, which was built in 1940 and has retained most of its original character. Here the beds are built into the rooms, there is no Wi-Fi and dishes must be washed by hand. However, the location can bring peace of mind with beautiful lake views of Ålfjorden, a large property with a lot of natural land, access to the beach, fishing and a short distance to Ølen, Etne, Odda/Trolltunga, Haugesund and Karmøy.

Skjoldastraumen is an idyllic and quiet place with the possibility of several activities and excursions. The place is probably best known for its saltwater locks that opened in 1908. The saltwater locks are the only ones in Norway that are still in use. The sandy beach at Notaflåt is centrally located and provides bathing opportunities on a nice summer day. Straumen school is also nearby. Here the kids can play and play football. If you drive to Nedstrand, you will find the well-known Himakånå. "Straumen er Draumen"

Family-friendly cabin in idyllic Sveinavik. Here you can relax and enjoy beautiful views over the fjord. Pleasant outdoor areas with pizza oven, fireplace and barbecue. One bedroom with double bed, two bedrooms with double bunk bed (150 cm lower bed). Possibility of two extra beds and bathroom in the annex. From the cabin it is only a short walk to the playground, beach and sea life. Great hiking trails nearby. Parking just outside the cabin. Guests have access to the entire cabin except for a locked storage room.

Between Stavanger and Bergen/Hardanger. 30 min to Haugesund, 1 h 50 min to Odda (Hardanger and Trolltunga). Rented out for the first time in 2026.

Here you can enjoy the days in calm surroundings with nature close by, either in and by the cabin or by using the amazing nature that surrounds the cabin. The cabin has recently been completely renovated and contains a living room and kitchen in one, 3 bedrooms with room for 6 - 8 people, bathroom, basement with washing machine, internet and TV. There is easy access by car all the way to the door.
