The house is in a quiet, little village. It’s very peaceful and perfect for a chilled get away. Hugo was very friendly and always helpful. You will definitely need a car to get there.

Quinta da Costa - double room

LouisRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
This apartment offers breathtaking views of the confluence of the Pinhão River and the Douro River. It is surrounded by lemon and orange trees. The place is isolated but very relaxing. It is therefore preferable to have a car to get there. Otherwise, you can take a taxi from the train station or walk, but you have to walk for at least 1 hour on steep streets.

Villa - Casa Grande de Arcos

The house is spectacular. The weather was rainy and cold and the house was warm and comfortable. The unbeatable pool installation, we could enjoy it every day. Everything was very clean and has all kinds of utensils, accessories, pool towels, games, etc. The truth is that it is a totally recommended house to go in a group and the hosts are always attentive and friendly.

Casa da Travessa - Almodafa - Tarouca

SergeiRating, 5 stars17 months ago
I recently enjoyed staying at Marta's house, which was a delightful experience. From the moment I arrived, I was enchanted by the charm and coziness of this beautiful house. The kitchen was absolutely amazing, with all the necessary equipment. The breathtaking views from the terrace on the second floor were a highlight of our trip. The BBQ area was equipped with everything required; I especially want to emphasize the cleanliness of the grill (I have not seen such cleanliness for a long time). I enjoyed hiking and exploring villages in the surrounding area, making the house's location ideal for relaxation and adventure. The host, Marta, was incredibly accommodating and attentive. Any questions or concerns I had were promptly addressed, making the entire booking process and stay seamless. I would highly recommend the house to anyone seeking a peaceful and charming retreat. It exceeded my expectations, and I look forward to returning for another memorable stay. Thank you, Marta!

Casa da Quebrada, Douro Valley

FiroozRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This was one of the most breathtaking views I’ve ever had at an Airbnb. The scenery was stunning, and the setting felt wonderfully secluded yet still just 15 minutes from the nearest supermarket (via a charming, winding road). The house was very comfortable and included a lovely pool — a perfect spot to unwind and take in the beauty around. Highly recommended for a peaceful getaway.

Sara's Corner

Isabel was an exceptional host! We went on a quick visit to the Douro, as we had the half marathon on Sunday. The space is super cozy, with wonderful natural light and the sound of birds in the morning is soothing. Check-out is at 11 am, but we asked if we could do it later (for a fee) because we needed to change clothes after the race before returning. Isabel not only told us that we could leave when we needed to, but she didn't charge us anything for the extra hours. Definitely a place to come back to and this time to rest :) Thank you!
