The sound doesn't stop—it follows you to sleep and is the first thing you hear in the morning. You leave the car on an old bridge above and walk down a short rustic path; below it, the property opens up. Two villages and a small market sit a hundred meters back, reminding you civilization is still out there—but down here you're in your own world.

Welcome to Castanheiro. Our property is a recently refurbished house built around a century old chestnut tree. A spacious terrace offers a panoramic view of the Santa Cruz Bay. Our house is cozy and was recently renovated. We put a lot of work and love into this house and are happy to share it with our family and friends. Five minute walk to beaches, boats to the island, whale watching, food market, restaurants, coffee shops and ice cream stand. once in a while is not quiet you are 25 feet away from a fishing dock fisherman‘s are in and out smells of fish on the air to be honest with you if you want a peace and quiet place and quiet sleep this is (not) the area and also airport is 19 miles (30k) away from property.
