Our refuge consists of 1 bedroom with a double bed, 1 bathroom and 1 living room equipped with a small kitchen and an outdoor barbecue. In the parish, there is a pharmacy, supermarkets, a gas station and a restaurant that belongs to the owner of the bungalow, where you can have lunch at an affordable price. 5 min. from the river and the chapel of S. João with pool and barbecue grill, benches and tables. 20 minutes away, you can enjoy the beach of Esposende and Cabedelo, 20 minutes from Barcelos and 40 minutes from Porto

Bring the whole family to this fantastic place with plenty of room to have fun. This property is located in a strategic location for those looking to get to know the north of Portugal. You can visit cities such as Braga, Viana do Castelo, Ponte de Lima, Guimarães, Barcelos, Porto, Geres, Famalicão, which are located on average 30/40 min from the property. Close to cities but far from the hustle and bustle. If you prefer to travel by train, the Nine train station is 7 minutes from the property.

The Wind Mill

Beautifully located in hills overlooking the Atlantic Ocean sits the Marinhas windmill. The windmill dates from the year 1758 and was built in the traditional northern Portuguese style with circular walls, two floors, an entrance on the grown floor and two windows on the upper floor. It is classified as a municipal heritage building. The mill is 130 meters above sea level thus providing a breathtaking view over the towns and ocean and a unique retreat for the more adventurous guest.

My place is wonderful for families looking for peace and quiet. A few minutes from Viana do Castelo, Barcelos, Esposende or the oldest and most ancient Vila de Portugal, (Ponte de Lima), this space is also very good for families (with kids). Surrounded by green fields and woods with streams, the Atlantic Ocean is also about 10 minutes away, with fabulous beaches between Esposende, Viana do Castelo or Moledo. The Gerês mountain range is about 40 minutes away. Spain is 35 km away.

Cascata Studio

This is a unique space, with stunning views of the waterfall and surrounding nature. Ideal for a weekend of adventure! Come prepared for poor cellular network and slow Wi-Fi, as the location is isolated. On the other hand, the sound of nature takes on a fantastic dimension, with the river water and birds surrounding us completely. Access is made (in the last 500 meters) by land and it is necessary to pay attention to the directions we provide so that you do not get lost.

Our guest house stands separately ,with privacy & all comforts in the Quinta Viana, a fenced 1.2 acre terrain in the valley of the river Cávado. Here it is wonderfully peaceful & surrounded by fragrant eucalyptus forest. A saltwater pool is at our guests' disposal for refreshing bathrooms. The flowery turnaround offers our guests space to linger. The Atlantic coast is (12 minutes) away with many beaches & restaurant.

Exceptional location! Magnificent view of the beach, just in front of the private balcony in 2º floor, lots of sun and natural light in all the apartment. A beautiful green park at the other side of the street whith an amazing pedestrian and ciclo via along the Cávado river. The cozy apartment you can see in the photos...is realy nice and super comfortable for 2 persons. Really safe neighborhood all around.
