The place has an abundance of traditional features: patterned hand-made floor tiles, soaring ceilings, timber beams, hand-made wrought iron railings and natural golden-stone walls that will take you back in time while you immerse yourself in the heart of this ancient vibrant town. All apartments have been designed to be fully self-catering with all modern amenities including full kitchen (oven/hob/dishwasher), orthopaedic mattresses, 100% cotton bedsheets, independent bathroom/shower, AC and WIFI throughout. This is the first floor suite which occupies the entire first floor. It has an independent bedroom and separate ensuite bathroom. A sofa bed in the living area is available for additional guests. These spaces are common and shared with the other single-bedroom (penthouse) apartment in the same building. It also has access to a shared washing machine/dryer/ironing facilities. Guests will be able to access all common parts of the property (entrance/ground floor lobby/ two levels of outdoor spaces/sundeck). PLEASE NOTE: this apartment is on the first floor with a flights of stairs and no elevator. We live on the island and are happy to provide any help, information, advice or recommendations as required. The townhouse is nestled in the pedestrian heart of Gozo—the Isle of Joy—among ancient alleyways of the old capital. It's 50 yards from the Basilica of St. George and its fabulously vibrant square. On foot, bicycle or public transport is best.
