Newly constructed chalet, perched mountainside overlooking Margaree Valley. With high ceilings and huge windows, the space provides guests with a bright, airy and cozy atmosphere. Outside a 200 sq/ft veranda offer space to enjoy fresh air, sunshine, a good book, and incredible country views. When not enjoying the natural beauty of the 14 acre property, the chalet also offers professionally designed interior, full kitchens/BBQ, SMART TV, free Wifi, electric fireplace, heat and air conditioning. With no immediate neighbors, our chalets are surrounded by forest and farm land and the perfect place to relax, and unwind while overlooking the Valley below. It is the perfect balance of having all the amenities of home, as well as the opportunity to enjoy some peaceful time away. Regardless, on 14 acres, there is lots of room to stretch your legs! Hosts will be available via call/text/email or Airbnb message during your stay with us. If a problem arises, a team member will be on site to solve with problem as quickly as possible. Kody’s place is located in Margaree Valley Nova Scotia Canada. Approximately 6 kilometers off Cabot Trail, this location is the perfect base for your trip around the Trail, or around Western and Central Cape Breton. Our proximity to Inverness, Baddeck, Cheticamp and Ingonish make day trips from this base easy. As the last civic address on a public road, we are reachable by motor vehicle year round. During winter months our location is also easily accessible by snowmobile, and during the Spring, Summer and Autumn by ATV.

Raspberry Cottage has a 17th century Scandinavian log style with a newly renovated interior, library, free berry and orchard picking, and a hiking path on 150 acres. Situated on a hillside overlooking the historic St. Ann’s bay, the Old Trail cabin is conveniently located just 5.5km from the start of the Cabot trail and the Gaelic College. A great spot to start or finish your Cabot Trail adventures! The cabin is designed to feel as open and airy as possible for a small space. The bedroom has a queen bed and the loft has a single bed. Kitchenette has coffee maker, toaster, mini fridge and microwave. All amenities needed are only 15 mins away in Baddeck.

The Trailhead Guest Cottage

Our peaceful oceanfront guest cottage is situated at the head of the 9.5 km Pollett's Cove hiking trail.  We recommend a two night stay - first night, settle in with a beverage, evening sunset and star gazing.  Wake to coffee and farm fresh breakfast delivered to your door step (except in August when we are on vacation), before hitting the trail to Pollett's Cove, the Skyline or any of the 30 other nearby national park trails. Have a swim, and return to a hot outdoor shower. Repeat!

Our cozy guest house is located along the Point Edward Highway, but don't let the name of our street discourage you from staying. It is a lovely, quiet, rural setting, along the shores of Sydney Harbour. Very centrally located between the city of Sydney and surrounding towns. The view is calming, and can be enjoyed on the covered front deck. Be sure to catch one of the stunning sunsets during your stay!
