Holiday rentals with a sauna in Vestre Slidre Municipality

The friendliest Airbnb hosts we have stayed with! Eli-Ann and Berthram were extremely welcoming and the place itself was fantastic. The apartment is in a beautiful location and has everything you need for your stay. We hope to be back again!

Better than expected !!!

We had a great stay at Kike's apartment, which was very nicely located with a short distance to the hill.

Nice apartment. Great host; very service minded. Easy access to the ski slopes. The apartment is situated inside the hotel, so you basically have the best of both worlds; a private apartment yet also access to breakfast and hotel amenities.

We were a group of friends of 9 who had a great time. Extremely nice cabin with everything you need. Right by the hill

A really nice apartment in a quiet neighborhood, high located with an incredibly beautiful view. Very wood equipped compared to many previous leases in Beitostølen. Really good and quick communication with Christina, a professional host. A bit difficult to find the apartment as the specific address with house number was not provided in the directions. Cute and thorough welcome along with a good box of chocolate - thank you Christina: -) A drainage issue/water damage 2 days before departure, which resulted in water on the kitchen floor and which made the use of the dishwasher impossible, does not alter the overall experience. Slightly difficult access to the cross-country trails, but with a 5 minute car ride to Garli, the high mountain was quickly accessible. Lovely and very easy now to be able to pay with Easypark in Garli - and in the rest of Beitostølen. Would definitely recommend the apartment and the host Christina.

We loved our stay at Lars’ beautiful home in Hemsedal. It was our first time visiting Norway to Ski. The drive from Oslo is beautiful and easy. The check in instructions were simple and easy to find. The apartment itself is stunning and well equipped. The place sleeps 10 but we were a group of 5 and it was perfect. The sun had been out so ski in/out wasn’t possible but defo would be earlier in the season. Walking to the lift took 5 mins. For any British guests reading and wondering whether vastly more expensive compared to France/Austria. I would say the value for money for accommodation far surpasses anywhere we have stayed in other ski resorts. It’s more expensive to eat and drink but not much more. Everyone was exceptionally friendly, the lift staff in particular. The Skarsnuten spa is a must! The toll road is expensive just to pop to the shops ( £32 over 5 days) Only negative is bring our own sheets and towels. Maybe a hire option would be nice to offer. Overall 5 ⭐️

Hanna’s place is a great place for a family ski trip. The location is super convenient next to the slopes. The near-by hotel has a great spa, gym and restaurant. The apartment is very spacious and well equipped. The view is incredible and if the weather is not as expected the sauna and fireplace are a big plus. Hanna was always available and super helpful. We highly recommend Hanna’s place.

Can't say enough good things about this place, or about our amazing host, Sven. The apartment is exactly what you expect from the pictures...spotless, well appointed, and an outstanding location. Spent New Year's at Sven's place and it did not disappoint, nor did Hemsedal. Watching the fireworks from the deck of Sven's place was something we will never forget. Parking is in the same complex and is super easy. The location is close to the lifts...a few minute walk...as well as to the restaurants and shops in the SkiStar Lodge. In every way, perfect! I have to add that Sven was the most helpful, courteous, and accommodating host we have ever had in our travels. Truly a pleasure to deal with. Thank you for hosting and for sharing your place with us!

Nice place to stay with proximity to the slopes

Hei sammen, the apartment is located in an 8 apartment building, but it is very calm, even though New Year. The place is clean and the kitchen is also equipped with basic foods (salt, sugar, rice, sauce, flour, tea). Some of the food items should be thrown away (over use date), but there was no bad food. We had a great time for 7 days. There are many runs to ski or the possibility of alpine skiing in the winter. We can recommend Anders the apartment to 1,000%. Thank you so much =). Martin and family

Hi. A great place with a nice location in relation to Hemsedal and Golsfjellet. The place has a great sauna with a large bathroom. It was almost like being in a spa. Greta communicated very well during the whole stay and was able to help us if there was anything we were wondering about. Large space to park a car and extra bonus that we could park under cover. Please note that the kitchen does not have a sink so cooking is a bit cumbersome. Feel free to talk to Greta in advance so you have the right expectations. TV works with PC via HDMI cable. We definitely recommend staying at Greta's place.

Cosy appartment with a stunning view on the mountains and slopes. Easy access to and from the slopes, 50m walk only. Well equipped kitchen too. Would love to come back here if we were to ski at Hemsedal again!

It was a really good spot for going on some shorther trips. The area was quiet. We loved the landscape there. The apartment was clean, nice and well equipped. The rooms seemed to be more spacious in the pictures than they were in reality but we didn’t mind. It was 7 of us. I can imagine that if 9 people stay there it might feel a bit crowded. We’d recommend this accommodation to others. ☺️

Eli’s place was magical. It sat on a hill overlooking a beautiful lake with a magnificent mountain in the background. It felt like staying in a part of her family’s history. The original home was built in 1840 but her and her family completely renovated the cabin while still keeping the integrity of the space. It was extremely cozy, clean, and charming. Eli was a perfect host - she was warm, welcoming, and made us feel right at home! She had great recommendations for a local farm, as well as nearby alpine ski places. Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer but we definitely plan on coming back!! Thank you so much, Eli!

We had a fantastic stay at this cabin. We were two families celebrating New Year there. The cabin was big and nice, with all amenities you need. All 8 had a good time. We didn't get to test the cross country tracks that were outside, but enjoyed ourselves in the alpine slope which was a few minutes drive away. We would gladly came back.

We had a super wonderful stay at the cabin. It was a perfect fit for a large family and was close to both alpine and cross-country skiing trails. Our contact person was super nice and great at responding. We highly recommend a stay here.

This place is super spatious while still retaining the very cozy look and atmosphere of a traditional cabin. It’s located just a few minutes’ drive from Hemsedal ski center and other amenities, but provides a quiet mountain feeling, solitude and privacy. Morten, the host, replied quickly to all our questions, and was super helpful with information. The outdoors hot tub takes a bit of patience to fill and heat up, but is totally worth it. All in all we had an amazing stay!
