Beautiful country accommodation near Vendôme, Amboise and Blois. The highlight of the accommodation is the large spaces, perfect for accommodating a large family. The kitchen is one of the largest and best equipped I've had on Airbnb. The outdoor area is very beautiful, with barbecue, pond and outdoor furniture. The bedding could be improved (a little soft for our taste). The stairs to access the 1st floor also because the steps are very narrow and therefore not suitable for young children.

Convenient and well located accommodation for visiting the Loire castles. Clean and pleasant, a little hot under the roofs in the bedroom :)

Laurent's place matches the listing, we found the places clean and very well equipped, it felt like home, in a beautiful environment. A 2'drive away, we rented bikes from Canoë Company at a very good price and took a bucolic walk along the Cher to Chenonceau castle (amazing view!) Close to the bike rental company, we drank a drink and ate divine pastries at Bistrot Quai, charming bosses. In short, Laurent's is an address to keep in mind!

Great little spot, quaint and peaceful with a private garden. Garden great for pets being secure and enjoyed the sun most of the day. Short drive into Tours and very close to local parks Laura was very proactive with communication Would recommend

Clean and well appointed accommodation. For a weekend with close family near the Château de Chenonceau and the Beauval zoo, and a small lake with games just a stone's throw from the accommodation, which our children loved.

Nicole is very welcoming, very flexible for arrival and departure times. Very well located accommodation. Very relaxing accommodation in the middle of nature, an ideal place to recharge. Everything you need in the accommodation, car parked in the garden. Nicole is attentive to her guests. A weekend to do again 😉

Very friendly and pro-active hosts who respected our privacy. We absolutely loved the huge enclosed garden for our dogs and enjoyed our sundowner next to the river. We regretted not booking longer but we will return to explore the area. We highly recommend this gite if you enjoy tranquility and beautiful surroundings.

We had a great stay, the house is great, the bedding is great, we slept very well. The environment is relaxing. The house is very well equipped and spacious. The small terrace behind with the great barbecue, the relaxing pool, it was perfect at the end of the afternoon. Anne is a charming person, very responsive and so is her husband. We'll definitely be back. Don't hesitate to go.

Armand's house has all the comforts to spend a good stay. Special mention to the garden with the pool, with its sunsets. The village where it is located is very quiet and the bakery next to the house comes very well for those breakfasts with freshly made croissants😊. Although the house does not have a parking space for the car, on the days we were staying, we had no problems parking nearby. Armand is very attentive and quick to respond. The location is perfect for visiting castles and places of interest in the Loire. We had a vacation to remember!!!

We stayed here for a week with a group of 12 and found the home to be perfectly sized. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out if wanted and still enough spaces for us all to come together. The grounds and area in general are stunning and very peaceful. You absolutely need a car to get around to anything. The nearest towns are small and charming and Tours is only about 40min away. It's important to note the second floor has 2 showers, so the bedrooms with the single beds (pink and green) must share with the turquoise room, or walk through the blue room to use theirs. The water is hot but the top floor has low pressure if anyone else is showering. The house and furnishings show their age but it's very comfortable and charming. All of Pierre's recommendations were lovely - we did the carriage ride and hired a private chef (Morgan) both with great success. I would definitely recommend the stay again it was such a relaxing week and a great hub to all the Loire chateaux.

We have just returned from a 4-day weekend at Liesbeth's. Beyond the region, which is beautiful, and the incredible weather, we had a great time in the house and its grounds. Everything was perfect, the pool, the barbecue and the outdoors. Liesbeth was perfect in her communication with us and Hervé gave us a very good welcome and was considerate. Thank you for everything

Lovely place! Audrey was very welcoming after a long drive and left us some cherries and strawberries fresh from her garden. We also had tea and coffee which is always great as it was a Sunday when we arrived. It was a nice quiet place to walk our dog in the local area. Also we were lucky enough to arrive on a weekend when there was a wine fair in Vouvray which is only about 10 minutes drive away. Even if it’s not a wine fair there is quite a few shops to taste wine here.

Geneviève and her family have made a beautiful space with huge volumes very neat. The park is superb with a view of rich and preserved fauna and flora. What a pleasure to watch the deer, the herons in the morning... And the very family-friendly welcome is remarkable. Thank you for this place and for those who know how to share it so well

This property is very special! I loved my time at it. It is such a warm property with so much character but has all the modern elements that are needed for a comfortable longer stay. The internet speed was fantastic as well and I could telework with no issues. The property is private without feeling isolated. I would love to return to this property in the future!

We received a very good welcome from Mary and Stéfane. We really liked the atypical accommodation, on the mezzanine bedroom bathroom and toilet in open space, on the ground floor the living room with bay windows overlooking the beautiful green garden, part of which is reserved for the cottage. Upon arrival, Mary left us two small welcome surprises and contacted us several times during the week to check in and see if everything was going well. We will gladly return to this haven of peace, which is very well located for visiting the castles of the Loire, the Beauval zoo and so many other beautiful things...

The place is absolutely stunning - super spacious, stylish, has everything one may need on vacation and even more. The terrace is a jem - we enjoyed our breakfasts on the terrace. The area is very serene and quiet. And Celine is an amazing host, extremely helpful and responsive. Definitely would recommend and would dream of returning again!

This beautiful old house very well furnished, with quality and good taste; Very quiet. Nature view. 2 bedrooms with each bathroom WC, great equipment. Everything is there: soaps, coffee, cooking utensils, etc... everything to live right away. In short, we want to come back! Thank you Pascale 😊
