I'm Weekend. That's what the owners named me. I am a small house in the countryside, far from the city crowd to spend holidays and free time. My name carries a positive message and invites you, I invite you, to visit me. I am a modern furnished apartment with a touch of the past and I offer you a comfortable stay. I was built and completed in 2022, in a quiet and peaceful village called Hotunje in Andraž nad Polzelo in the Savinjska Valley, through which the hiking trail to Mount Oljka winds.

The apartment is located on the second floor and is the largest of the four apartments in the house, with near identical square footage. The apartment is located in a separate building in the yard of a secluded farm in the unspoiled nature of Pohorje. From the village of Mislinja, you ascend slightly to the homestead along a 1 km private macadam road. In the surrounding area you can walk through the mighty Pohorje forests and plains, cycle along countless forest roads and paths, climb in the nearby granite climbing area, explore the karst caves Hude luknje or relax in the local natural pool.

Blue Cottage - a little family house in the nature

Hi! My name is Blue Cottage. In fact I am not entirely blue, but yellow too. That is becasue my owner loves the sun as much as she loves this blue colour. In fact, she loves it so much that she and her family (3 kids, 2 dogs and 1 husband) have coloured all my windows and shutters all sorts of blue. Btw., did you know that »blue« in Slovenian doesn't mean »sad« (like in English), but »wise«! (My story continues bellow - please, keep reading!!)
