House holiday rentals in Vas County

We had a wonderful 12 days in Thomas's house. The quite rural location enabled us to really relax and chill out when we wanted to, with the pool, table football, table tennis and the fire pit to keep our teenage boys amused both day and night. The location is also a great base for visiting Vienna, Bratislava and Budapest and there is also loads to see and do in the local area to really get a feel for Hungary. Overall a brilliant holiday and one we will always remember. A big thanks to Thomas and Gabi for their warm and friendly welcome.

The villa is excellent, it looks better in reality than on photos! We were nine people (2 families and a grandparent), and accommodation was just suitable for us. The view on Balaton Lake was stunning. Swimming pool was nice and clean, its depth makes it suitable for 10-year-old children. Unfortunately, we were a bit unlucky with weather, so we did not enjoy it fully. Balcony was the place where we spent most of our time. I would only recommend some electronic mosquito repellent or similar ones for the evening stays. Janitor was a very helpful person.

Everything was in order, kind hosts, clean place, easy communication! I can only recommend it!

Fantastic stay in a beautiful setting. Clean, fully equipped, very demanding place to stay. The saunas and garden games were especially a pleasure for us. There are plenty of places to see and go out nearby. The host was very kind. We had a wonderful day at this place!

The firt impression was the best. We arrived afternoon, got the key at the reception. The apartman is net to a golf course at the hungarian - austrian border. The apartmants are brand new, amazing looks and no neighbours. The lake(s) was/were amazing. At the busiest day there were like 10 plp. Deffiniately want to go back. However the apartment could have been cleaner thought.

We felt very comfortable right away. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. The location is suitable for hiking in the Kesthely mountains. The beach resorts on Lake Balaton can be reached in minutes by car. Two good restaurants are within walking distance and also a supermarket is nearby (about 10 minutes walk). The terrace with the well-kept pool invites you to relax.

Very nice and cozy place. Huge house and a lot of space outside. Perfect for a calm ,quiet relax near the nature. I recommend this place for a good time and relax !

The house is much larger than expected and very spacious, quiet and well equipped. There are enough rooms to accommodate several families comfortably, perfect for a big reunion or a trip with many friends. Highly recommended!

Nice little spot. Very quite, good kitchen and furniture for sleeping. Mónika was very nice and attentive.

It's a special and unique place with a huge garden that runs into the volgy, grocery forests; it's really quiet. The house is very comfortable and clean, there is everything the guest needs (good wifi, laundry). We were bugs; delicious restaurants on the corners, friendly people, furodheto lakes. Geza is a very nice host; thank you for the guide!

Love at first sight: a perfect, quiet retreat in this hidden gem of Hungary (Keszthely). The house really felt like the home away from home. If we ever manage to get back there, this is by far the number one choice for us to consider. We spent a (too) few wonderful days there. Visiting the stunning Festetics Palace and enjoying the blessings of Hungarian food and the kindness of Hungarians was a real treat. Adventuring by bike on the shores of Lake Balaton and to Heviz was an unforgettable experience. Thank you, Adam and Simona.

We stayed with our extended family at Szilvia’s place, 10 adults and 2 babies. When we were staying home instead of walking to the beach (~25min walk), we used the huge lounge room. The kids loved the toys and the space, the adults enjoyed the barbecue and outdoor seating. There’s a convenience store one block away and multiple big stores in 5min driving distance, ice cream shop down the road about 10 min walk away. The lounge and double bedrooms on the top have ACs, which was a real godsend in the heatwave. Check in and out was really easy with Szilvia’s parents, I’d highly recommended booking this house if you’re looking for a place to get multiple families together, especially if you have small kids as well.

The owner, Peter, was very kind, and needless to say, the condition of the house was very good. It was a 5-minute walk to the lake, so it was nice to swim, and there were good restaurants nearby. If I plan to travel to Lake Balaton next time, I plan to visit again. It was a very enjoyable trip. Thank you Peter

The place is just lovely! It is very cozy, and it was planned smartly so everything is right where it should be :) The interior design of the apartment is very relaxing, it is impossible not to chill there. The neighbourhood is very quiet so you can enjoy the beautiful garden too. Ágnes, our host was very kind and helpful, always responded quickly to our messages. We’ll definitely come back :)

Very friendly and helpful hosts. It is an old renovated house with a beautiful garden completely closed, so we did not have to worry about our dog getting away, in addition we were able to enjoy a few very quiet days.

I wholeheartedly recommend the Fortuna B&B, where we came as a family and we had a wonderful time with the five of us. The house is spacious, clean and cozy, the beds are comfortable, as is the huge couch. We found everything we needed in the kitchen. And the infrared sauna has smuggled luxury into our days here. We were with 3 families. The 5 bedrooms are also very comfortable for 10 people. The host was kind and friendly, and check-in and checkout were smooth. We had a very nice time, so we were able to have lunch on the terrace, followed by a walk along the Gyöngyös stream and ice cream (in the ice cream shop about 200 meters away) We had a good time. thank you .
