The bus stops at the gas station and is a stop on the way to Ålesund, or to Selje/ Bryggja/Nordfjordeid. From the house has a lovely view towards Åheimselva. Tourist destinations such as Vestkapp and Selje Monastery are about 20 - 30 minutes away by car. There are also fishing opportunities in the lake

Hakalletrappa is right above the cabin, and gives amazing views into the sea and the nearest islands. Perfect starting point for day trips to Vestkapp, Runde, Geiranger, Loen, Ålesund, etc... Enjoy some relaxing days on this peaceful place , in a breathtaking valley with 3 lakes and surrounded with mountains.Trout fishing in the lakes, rowboat and nets are avaible. Closest neighbour is a deer, llama and goat farm, acess is included. The farmhouse is fully refurbished, but still have som of the old style. Close to the farm is some of Norway`s biggest attractions, Loen Skylift (1 h) Sagastad Viking Center (35m) with a replica of the biggest viking ship in Norway. Geiranger fiord(1h)

She is cradled by mountains to the rear, where bird songs echo, eagles fly and foxes mischief. Elevated views of the fjord and layered mountains beyond. You will have access to the great sights close by, then return to a very private tourist free home base beautiful in its own right. On the border between Vestland and Møre og Romsdal, a great center point to access as much as you can see.

You might be lucky to see a flock of orcas in the fjord, or see eagles and deer. Rovdefjorden is a busy fjord for both big and small boats, also cruise ships going to/from Geiranger.
