Holiday rentals with a patio in Vanderbijlpark

Enjoyed my stay here, beautiful place, with great river views.

We were attending a sports event in Sasolburg and this was a perfect base - easy 15 minute drive to the stadium and really lovely apartment and estate to return to after a busy day. Beautiful, well-appointed apartment, thank you Danie.

Stayed at Anchorage for 3 nights as last minute booking. Everything was fully booked at Vaal Marina for 8 people accommodation as I left it to the last minute, so naturally I though since the Anchorage was still available it would be not so nice.......how mistaken I was. Everything, but I mean everything was excellent, and I could write much about it which would make this review too long to read, but The Anchorage is a lovely getaway with lovely surroundings. Had a sit-down dinner at restaurant which was long to prepare the food......but hey, no rush we were after all relaxing, the food was excellent, and good food takes time to prepare. The real gem of The Anchorage is not the place, although very beautiful with much to do and can't be faulted. The real gem are the people running it, from the ladies at reception office, Jaco the marketing manager to the owner Howard who are at all times available and extremely friendly and helpful. People that love what they do.

Great place to stay in easy walking distance to the popular part of town and to the Vaal river. Safe, quiet with great amenities. I will definitely make use of the place again in the future.

An Excellent Stay! Our stay at Maria's place was fantastic! Maria is an exceptional communicator, always clear and responsive. She was also incredibly accommodating with our various requests, which we greatly appreciated. The apartment itself is in a superb location and beautifully laid out. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend it!

Lovely little spot on the river when you just want to get away for a bit. Cottage was safe, secure and peaceful.

Beautiful place with easy access to the dam for fishing. Staff on site were so helpful, even gave us fishing tips. Will definitely return

The Host Paul allowed us to have our very small intimate wedding there.. it was the best night of my whole life and the propert is superb😍. I would not trade that night and the overall feel for anything else. I have to add that the staff member was walking around our guests and for most park of the wedding sat in the main houses' bar on his phone watching videos (the guest toilet is right next to the bar btw).. i eventually asked him around 23h00 when our guests left to please leave our house , it was quite awkward having him sit there watching videos while we all stand around the kitchen/ bar and all talking about how the wedding and night went.

My family and I enjoyed our stay - this felt like home away from home. The pictures didn’t do it any justice, the place is more beautiful in person. A safe haven indeed, from the busyness of the city. Everything looked amazing and perfectly located. The host was easily accessible and proactive, not to mention friendly and helpful.

Great host, very responsive and proactive. The place is so beautiful, pictures don’t do justice. I loved how I felt at home, we had everything we needed from utensils to earbuds😊 I’m definitely coming back next year.
