Holiday rentals with a pool in Valle Azul

This is our second time staying at Casa Gisela, we love this home and neighborhood so much.

Wow what an amazing view! Also an amazing garden full of hummingbirds and other lovely birds. Friendly horse that came to visit twice and reached its head over the fence. Neighbor Lilander gave us a picturesque horseback ride with a gorgeous jungle hike to a private waterfall. El Castillo is a remote, steep village. The bakery is terrific and the little market is super helpful. We enjoyed La Ventanita and Fusion for dinners. Anna and the other hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful. Thank you!!

After staying here last year our kids were so excited to come back! They love the pool! The house has everything you need and is very clean! The property is amazing and we have even seen several sloths.

I am glad to have found this gem of a place in La Fortuna. The house is very close to city center and all activities in La Fortuna. Lots of great restaurants near by. The house is very well maintained with all the required amenities. The pool surrounded by lush greenery was welcoming after a long day of hiking. Laura is very responsive and the check in / checkout process is a breeze. I recommended this place for anyone visiting La Fortuna.

The other reviews are correct. This place is even more beautiful in person. We did not the amount of space, how clean it was, and how luxurious it felt. It was like being in a resort. Even the way its designed was gorgeous. It was 4 adults and 2 kids and we all loved it. The kids especially loved the pool and how low it was and we loved the convenience of the market directly across the street. Also everything is a short taxi ride away. And to top it off, the one day pass at Las Logas Resort was awesome. We spent hours there walking the grounds and enjoying the hotsprings pools!! This is definitely one of the best airbnbs we've stayed at offering so many amenities withing close proximity to downtown and other attractions. Also the host Rebecca was very responsive! Be careful to follow the instructions when checking in because you will be lost. Thanks again Rebecca!

Our experience at Raquel’s home couldn’t have been better. The place was beautiful, as was the location, scenery and wildlife. Joshua was beyond helpful with everything we needed and more. We felt fully immersed in the culture. We had breakfast at her parents just down the road and they treated us like family. We could not have enjoyed ourselves more and cannot say anything but wonderful things about everyone we encountered during our stay. We would 100% recommend one of their beautiful homes and will stay with them again when we make it back to Costa Rica. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you all for making our time in La Fortuna so special. We wish we didn’t have to leave. Until next time…

El lugar es demasiado cómodo y bello! Realmente es muy familiar y tranquilo, la pasamos muy bien en familia. Lo recomiendo a ojos cerrados, fueron muy amables ya que la entrada era a las 3:00 pm pero llovía demasiado y nos permitieron entrar antes. Es super aseado y ordenado, no tengo ni una sola queja, mi familia está muy agradecida y contenta. Sin duda volvería a rentarlo! ❤️

After an entire week in the discomforts of camping in the Uvita jungles, it was such a relieving treat to be back in the city in an apartment w/ optional air conditioning, an actual bathroom w/ shower & toilet access, a working laundry & a refrigerator to cool our drinks on. We may have gotten excited seeing that the refrigerator in the apartment had a filtered water button, since our ‘1st world’ tummies😆was having such a hard time w/ the tap water in Costa Rica. Even using the tap water for brushing our teeth made us vomit/have diarrhea, so we were sad when we realized that the filtered water button in the refrigerator did not work😢 We reached out to Carlos about it & he told us the water filter was not set up. We ended up just buying a big container of filtered water from Alajuela Walmart 20mins drive away. We felt safe because the condominium was in a gated complex with 24/7 security. Incredible hospitality, location, price, security and amenities. Getting around town is really easy from the location, lots of close restaurants/sites/shopping. Will be back to stay here!

El alojamiento fue exactamente como estaba descrito. La zona es muy tranquila, perfecta para desconectarse del mundo y descansar. Estuve allí con mi familia y todos disfrutamos muchísimo. Las camas son súper cómodas y todo estaba impecablemente limpio. Sin duda, un lugar al que nos encantaría volver.

El lugar de Tatiana fue perfecto para nosotros. Cerca del aeropuerto y suficiente espacio para acomodar a 5 personas. Esta zuper equipado , aunque nosotros solo lo ocupamos para dormir, todo estuvo perfecto. Tuvimos un problemita con la puerta , sin embargo Tatiana fue inmediatamente y lo resolvio. Definitivamente volveria a utilizarlo.

El alojamiento es igual que en las fotos y como una casa de cristal se ve todo hacia interior en la noche, recomiendo mantener cerrada la cortina. Todo muy bien con las comodidades, te entregan toallas para tu estadía y útiles de cocina, no así lo indispensable para ella. Tiene aire acondicionado, el cuál condensaba y cayó agua todo el tiempo, jugamos con la temperatura alta pero aún así no lo logramos. Estaba todo muy limpio, impecable, pero habían muchas hormigas en la cocina, pese a que estaba todo guardado en el refrigerador. Las paredes de la casa son delgadas y si otro huésped se va de noche, te va a despertar, igual se escucha todo de la otra habitación. Los alrededores son muy lindos, tiene vista al volcán, pero el acceso tiene muchos hoyos. Afuera está la casa de UP! Cristian nos pareció muy amable y simpático, nos ayudó con lavar nuestra ropa y nos dio algunas indicaciones de qué hacer. Gracias!

Allan and Isabella were so welcoming and helpful - meeting us to ensure we had everything we needed when we arrived and helping us with extra requests - Isabella even came over to help when the oven fuse went on Christmas Day, halfway through cooking our dinner! The house itself is even better than the photos and the location is great. Chachagua has a great little bakery and a butcher and is 20 minutes from la fortuna and all the adventures and amenities there. Wonderful stay for our multigenerational family!
