Casa de Salreu AL - House

Casa de Salreu is a single-story, single-family home with its own land of about 2,000 square meters (flanked by willows and a water line), a patio, 4 comfortably furnished suites, a living room and a fully equipped kitchen. Rehabilitated in the first half of 2020, it is the result of the reconstruction of a typical house in the region, where we sought to maintain, in addition to the volumetry, the personality and romantic aura of the space, with total respect for the natural surroundings.

Villa located in the heart of the Geopark, 2 km from the center of Arouca and 50 km from the city of Porto (about 50 minutes). The accommodation has a bedroom with double bed and sofa bed, kitchen and bathroom. CORTIÇO: The apartment overlooking the Douro is named “Cortiço”. It is so called, in homage to honey, a secular food that was also produced on our property, exactly in this place. The family gathered to extract this nectar, laboriously produced by the bees, to serve not only as a delicacy, but also as a home remedy for everyday ailments.
