Modern apartment about 2 km from Lom city center. It is idyllically located on a farm with a nice outdoor area. There are many hiking opportunities nearby. Everything from trips right out from the residence and longer trips such as Galdhøpiggen and Besseggen, Jotunheimen, Reinheimen and Breheimen national park with many mountains. For those with skis, there is access to a ski shed with “skiwise” to take care of the skis. There is a garden and lawn around the house and it is easy to walk down to Lom city center. We are a family with children with active children. Some noise must be expected.

We live on a small farm with pets and a kitchen garden. On the outskirts of the yard on the farm there is a detached house from 1979. The house is family friendly and has a great view. It has 5 bedrooms and associated common rooms. With nature reserves and national parks around us on all sides, it is a good starting point to spend your vacation here. Great hiking terrain, short distance to Grimsdalen a mountain valley with free-range livestock and a rich plant and animal life. It is part of the Tour de Dovre cycling route.

This is a mountain lodge/ chalet/ cottage with 11 beds, 4 bedrooms, sauna, bathroom with heated floor, washing machine and shower on 1000 meters altitude above sealevel with road to the door. There is a huge network of paths and skiing tracks starting outside the lodge and it is situated at the start of the famous Jotunheimen mountain reserve in Norway. The local village Skåbu (Skaabu) with a church, school, restaurant and supermarket is the highest altitude inhabited village in northern Europe.

Passer veldig bra for en stor vennegjeng eller familie. God plass til å boltre seg. Dersom dere er flere enn 7 personer kan vi ordne med 2 madrasser på gulvene. Veldig stille sted uten trafikkstøy like ved vannet, et fristed der man virkelig kan slappe av og sove godt bare med lyden av vind, vann og dyreliv. Omgitt av skog og urørt natur har hytta har hytten enkel standard med vedovn, gasskomfyr, biotoalett som passer for alle som vil leve litt enkelt tett på naturen uten modere fasiliteter som strøm og innlagt vann. Veldig bra utgangspunkt for turer både til fots og med sykkel i nærområdet, Jotunheimen, Rondane etc. Inkluderer badebrygge og båt.

The historical farm Nigard Kvarberg

The historical farm Nigard Kvarberg is beautifully located with a panorama view of Jotunheimen, in the middle of the vibrant and authentic cultural landscape of the mountain village Vågå. You will stay in Øverstuggu, one of about 50 buildings in the historical Kvarberg farm.
