Five star apartment with a five star host. Superb views from a spacious well equipped Penthouse apartment. The host, security and cleaner were all very friendly and helpful. Local restaurants at the end of the lane were great and a short walk up the beach to the restaurants of Long Beach. Snorkelling and water sports at your doorstep. Highly recommended.

We had a great time at Marie's place. Wishlist of our trip for accommodation but also the place! everything was great! the apartment, the terrace, the air conditioning in the bedrooms, very few mosquitoes. In addition, Marie's mom prepared us to eat every night and it was super good! I would highly recommend this additional service. Village du Morne is very nice, with a few local restaurants to eat, a few convenience stores. We'll come back to this address!

Wonderful apartment with exceptional views. Clean apartment on arrival and it is nice to benefit from the cleaning done some days during the stay. Unfortunately, there was an electrical problem in the building which made it impossible to use the elevator, but this does not detract from the beauty of the accommodation.

Wonderful, clean, cosy and very practical in terms of location. Ample parking and great maid service was offered. Would stay again without any hesitation.

Everything was just perfect: from the communication, the warm welcome and the wonderful place itself. We just loved everything about it: The 360-degree-view, the comfy furnitures, the tasteful design. The big trees in the yard hosts some cute birds which gave a paradise-like feeling. Julie gave us some really helpful recommendations which we all tried to. Loved the local restaurants close by. There’s also a big supply close by where we bought everything we needed to make breakfast in the spacy, well-equipped kitchen. Also, there’s a nice French bakery close by. The filtered water as well as the washing machine are a nice addition. We would recommend a rental car to get around as the place is a bit off the main areas. Though if you don’t mind walking, the local beach and the Tamarin beach are within about a 30-minute walk. We hope we can come back some time! Definitely one of our favorite Airbnbs so far!

It was perfect! We felt right at home, the apartment is nicely and cozily furnished and very well equipped, nothing is missing. Also a very nice big bathroom. The supermarket and a good bakery are around the corner, as well as the very nice beach of La Preneuse and good restaurants. An entrance from Black River Park is also only 15 minutes away by car, so you can also take tours spontaneously. After long days on the island, it was always a nice feeling to come into the apartment and make yourself comfortable. Sabine was always directly available if we had any questions, and helped us with questions before the vacation. Thanks for the great stay, we will definitely be back! Kind regards, Paula & Luisa

Fantastic 4 night stay - Yulia was very communicative right from the start and all instructions were clear and she helped us to organise car hire through a local agent, Nazim, who met us at the airport. The property was spotless throughout and very comfortable - Preety, the housekeeper, was an absolute delight - she cooked for us one night and we wish we could have stayed longer to taste more Mauritian cuisine! The apartment was excellently located for sunrise viewings from the beach, it is in a gated community with very friendly guards and the building manager, Kathy, came and introduced herself so we could contact her if there was any issues (which there wasn't!). We are already missing the snorkelling right off the beach - I saw an eagle ray on my first swim! We would highly recommend Yulia's apartment - stay longer than 4 nights!

The place beautifully blends simplicity and authenticity — just the way we like it. We’re big fans of nature lodges, and Loukaz truly felt like home. What made it even more special was the studio next door. As we were having dinner, we could hear a band working on a song — such a unique and magical experience! Impeccable accommodation with a superb location (1 minute from the beach). There are also some really good restaurants. The accommodation is very clean, the kitchen is well equipped. The quality/price ratio is more than validated. I can only recommend it.

5/5 stars! We had an unforgettable experience at this fantastic Airbnb apartment in La Gaulette, Mauritius! The apartment was clean, modern and comfortably furnished. The view of the mountain and the sea from the huge roof terrace was stunning. The location was perfect for us to explore the entire south of the island. Dhareena was very hospitable and helped us with all questions. Her parents welcomed us and they were incredibly friendly. Due to the delay of our flight and problems with the rental car, we arrived at the apartment much later than agreed, which was also no problem and due to the good communication with Dhareena everything worked out perfectly. We can only recommend this apartment!

We have enjoyed our two weeks of staying in this premise and we we intend to come again.

Very nice apartment, just like in the photos in beautiful and quiet residential complex. Great and clean pool that you like to use overlooking the Black River. Kitchen well equipped. Great location for excursions in the area. Overall, the place is highly recommended.

One of my favourite Airbnb stays. Loved staying in the local village. Eric was so friendly and the accommodation had everything we could need. We could walk to restaurants and the supermarket and it was a short drive to beaches and places of interest.

We stayed at Catherine's Villa in May 25 for 3 nights and enjoyed our stay. The Villa is right next to the beach and very close to Blue Bay public beach and also to the Airport. Even the Bo Valon mall is close by. Although the Villa is small and the rooms are compact, it has all the basic amenities and location wise very good. All in all a convenient stay .

The stay at the place was fantastic. Even though we arrived late, the hosts were very flexible. Check-in was quick and easy, which was very pleasant after the long journey. In addition, we received a list from J.C. directly after check-in with everything you need for your time in Mauritius (restaurant recommendations, sights, shopping and suggestions for activities). J.C. and Vero were always available and you could ask them questions and raise concerns at any time. No matter what you needed, they were always very accommodating. The accommodation was exactly as described and pictured. The location of the place is great. All in all, our stay at the accommodation was wonderful and we will stay with J.C. and Vero again when we travel to Mauritius again.

Such a wonderful view and nice penthouse apartment. Loved to be sitting in the hot tub as the sun set. Hosts were excellent communicators and very helpful. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful time at Roshni's place. The apartment was very spacious, clean and tidy. we loved the location right on the beachfront and the nice pool to cool off when it's too hot! Everything went smoothly from booking, check-in and check-out.

We stayed for a week at Harry and Malini's. The accommodation is very well located, close to the sea and shops. I have nothing else to say, our week was excellent! Thanks to them for hosting us and for their kindness.

Perfect location, beautiful apartment with everything you need inside: a small balcony to enjoy the sun in the morning during breakfast, a seating area with two swings to relax when returning from visits, a fully equipped kitchen and a modern bathroom. Not to mention the outside with its large swimming pool, its well-stocked weight room, the relaxation area, the barbecue area... everything is beautiful. Great hosts who best advise you on things to visit, very kind, respectful, attentive and attentive. I was able to share a grill and rum party with them and it was perfect. I recommend 1000% and will be back for sure! See you soon.

All good, a specious apartment, with all you need, a few bedrooms and bathrooms, additionaly amazing swimming pool which our kids loved a lot. The host was friendly, supportive and easily reachable, I definitely recommend both the apartment and the jost!

Probably one of the best homes I've ever rented on Airbnb. Pascal's apartment is perfectly equipped (even more than we could hope for). It is decorated with care and personality. It feels like home. Pascal was always responsive and suggested several good plans. A big thank you to him, we'll be back!

Very nice apartment with all the comforts, very clean and very well-equipped. We were hosted very well by Guillaume and loved our stay with our hosts. The apartment is great, it is very large and with a very nice terrace. We really enjoyed the site, the beautiful beach and the pool. Ange and Guillaume were very nice and very responsive with a lot of good advice. We recommend this accommodation without worries! There are always parking spaces to park in a very appreciable secure space. In short, it was pure happiness!
