Siisti, kodikas ja sympaattinen majapaikka viehättävässä ja rauhallisessa ympäristössä Varangin vuonolla. Arild ja Synnøve ottivat meidät lämpimästi vastaan ja heiltä sai aina tarvittaessa hyviä ohjeita ja neuvoja käytännön asioihin. He myös kunnioittivat vieraiden yksityisyyttä hienosti. Mökki on siisti ja viihtyisä, ja sopi erinomaisesti pariskunnalle ja kahdelle lapselle. Tupa on kauniisti ja käytännöllisesti sisustettu, jossa Arildin työhistoria ja Synnøven valokuvaustaidot pääsivät tyylikkäästi esiin. Suosittelemme kohdetta lämpimästi Varangin seudusta kiinnostuneille ja omassa rauhassa viihtyville. Palaamme varmasti uudestaan.

Es ist ein wunderschöner Platz, in dem ich mich direkt verliebt habe. Schade, dass wir nicht länger bleiben konnten. Die Gastgeberin ist super nett und hat uns alles im Detail erklärt, so dass wir gut zurecht gekommen sind. Du hast eigentlich alles was du brauchst. Stell dich auf Feuer machen ein. Sowohl die Sauna als auch die Außen Wanne konnte man mit Feuerholz erwärmen. Die Grillhütte war eins unserer Highlights. Mit einem kleinen Feuer konntest du den Raum erwärmen und grillen okay der Ausblick war der Wahnsinn. Solltest du so wie wir mit einem Hund anreisen Leine ihn unbedingt an. Es kommen dich Eichhörnchen und Rentiere besuchen.

Our Stay at Essie’s and Pieter’s Cabin was marvelous. The Cabin was really cute and convenient, the location was perfect, close to the nature and in a calm place. It was perfect to stay during winter, and we will come back someday to discover the place during summer !

Wat een perfect huisje, en wat een echte gastvrouw is de eigenaar. Er ontbrak ons aan niets. Heerlijk fris, heerlijke bedden. we vinden het jammer dat we maar, 2 nachten hadden geboekt. we hadden hier ook echt wel langer willen verblijven. Al was de prijs dubbel was hadden we dit niet willen missen. Kortom, dit huisje moet je boeken en wat een lieve gastvrouw. we komen zeker terug

John è un host fantastico. La sua casa è bellissima. C'è un patio con vista sul mare incantevole. Possibilità di parcheggio. La cucina è ben fornita di tutto. Tv, salone e poltrone super comode. Il bagno è con doccia e c'è una toilette che incenerisce quel che fa😁. Consiglio a tutti. Ringrazio ancora John per averci ospitati.

Maria's place is exactly as seen in her photos. As the house faces the Inari river, it looks absolutely beautiful with the snow and my family and I were walking around the area. We stayed at her place in late march, so the river is still frozen so we could even walk on the frozen river! Her place is well equipped with everything you would have (and love to have) in a house. It was super cozy and lovely to stay here. Favorite part of the house was the kitchen and living room because of the view and the sun shining into the place. Maria was also very friendly, she dropped by the place to have a chat with us. Gave us local recommendations of places to visit. Do recommend staying at her place when you are in Ivalo!

We had a lovely experience there. The house is big, clean and really beautiful. Jarmo was really kind and guided us to find northern lights. I will come back for sure. For me, 10/10.

Localisation : superbe endroit isolé près d'un lac. silence apaisant. Belle nature. Il faut être en voiture. Le logement est très cozy surtout le soir avec le type d'éclairage. Pour cuisiner, il y a un poêle à bois ancien avec plaque en fonte et à côté une plaque à induction. Donc si vous voulez cuisiner avec plus de 2 casseroles, l'induction ne suffit pas. Magnifique poêle de masse qui permet de belles flambées et facile d'utilisation. Un mode d'emploi très bien fait est fourni. Sauna à bois ce qui est plus agréable que le sauna électrique, super odeur de bois. On n'y prête pas attention sur le plan mais il faut passer par la terrasse donc l'extérieur pour aller du séjour à la salle de bain et wc. Cela se fait très bien même la nuit :) par -15°. C'est original et on se sent encore plus en Finlande !! Accessoires de cuisine en nombre suffisant, bonne literie. Rideaux occultants à toutes les fenêtres. On s'y sent bien. Nous recommandons ! 😊

Huoneisto oli siisti, viihtyisä. Joka päivä lämmitimme takkaa, joka antoi nopeasti lisä lämpöä. Myös sauna oli mukava asia. Vuodevaatteet olivat hotellitasoa, peitot muhkeat ja lämpimät. Meri näköala oli myös hieno.
