The word 'Jann' means 'to flow smoothly' and is used twice in the name 'JannJann'. As the name implies, we hope that the time of conversation that flows smoothly during the trip can be a good memory for everyone. I think about the colors and scents of the city every time I travel, so I decorated the point of Janjan in blue. Janjan divides the yard into two based on the flowerbed, and on the second floor, there is a balcony space that connects the outside and the inside, and through the large folding door on the balcony, you can fully feel the seasonal feeling of Gangneung and the coziness of the neighborhood. Janjan aims to live in harmony with local culture and locality. And the guests who visit here also become the subject of breathing life into the local culture. The front of the house is surrounded by cherry trees, and Maison de Lune means the house of cherry blossoms. This is a European-style accommodation that occasionally borrows the second house of a host who likes to travel. We only rent for dates other than family use during long periods of overseas travel, so we always maintain a clean condition. Near the accommodation, where the hanoks are clustered, you can take a walk to Gyeongpo Lake and the low-lying area, which is quiet but a 1-minute walk away, and there are tofu restaurants and wine bar coffee shops nearby. The birth of 'Golmala' dates back to 1938. The wooden structure, which has endured for 86 years, had many places to touch, as some parts had collapsed. The pillars of the hanok were preserved as much as possible, and the missing parts were replaced to match the past and the present in the wooden structure. All indoor spaces have been carefully designed to visually communicate with the outdoor courtyard. The spacious bathroom space is designed to be the most cozy place in this house. We hope you experience the meeting of the past and the present during your stay at 'Golmala'. We have provided a guide to the history of 'Golmala', nearby restaurants, bars, and cafe information. It was officially opened as a Hanok experience accommodation business at the end of January 2023.
