Holiday houses in Union County

Riverbreeze Cottage was the two night getaway we didn't know we needed. We came into town to watch our sons swim at Bucknell in the PIAA Championships, but we ended up taking a vacation!! The cottage is lovely - beautifully decorated and feels like home. Everyone had a space - a bedroom to hide away in, a couch overlooking the river, a spot at one of the tables to get a little work done, or a quiet bit of yard near the river. The kids had a blast hunting for driftwood and watching the ducks disappear underwater every morning. Karen is an amazing hostess - available at a moment's notice to answer a question. Like you, we fill out our stay request form letting the host know why we're traveling, and at the end of our stay Karen remembered everything I had written in there with a well wish for our sons' swims and our travels back home. Karen truly cares about her guests - and you'll feel it in every inch of this cottage!

Hillside Haven is a beautiful, well stocked home. We especially loved having the 2 separate sitting room spaces. We would have loved to have been able to use the beautiful gazebo, but winter weather was non conducive. Dwight and Lois were so sweet to put up a Christmas tree for us before our arrival, since we were staying the week of Christmas. Very pleasant home in quiet, pleasant surroundings. Hosts are very responsive to any communications.

The perfect cottage for a girls getaway to go antiquing. I've stayed in 4 Airbnb's this year and this home felt the most cozy and comfortable with live plants, cute pillows, and all the lovely decorations the are needed to prevent a cold, sterile environment. We greatly enjoyed the wood burning fireplace with 2 fires during our stay. The bathtub is fabulous and the kitchen was well equipped and clean. The front porch provides the perfect opportunity to enjoy the peacefulness of the creek and the occasional clickety clack of horse hoofs from an Amish horse and buggy. Lastly, a stay is only as good as the host's service. The electric power went out in the area and Brenda kindly delivered a cell phone charger, candles and kindling wood for our wood fire at 10 pm. We would most definitely stay here again.

My wife and I really enjoyed staying here. We were greeted by chocolate covered pretzels and a bottle of wine which was a great touch. The accommodations were comfortable and the bed in the master bedroom was perfect. They viewbook available online highlighted many of the area restaurants and points of interest. Beautiful spot. Fully stocked kitchen. Perfectly cozy and spacious at the same time. Incredible views as well. It was the perfect location for our weekend getaway. Will be returning.

Quiet, peaceful little cottage. The Gingerbread House is tiny but very comfortable. Patricia was extremely attentive to my needs and questions.

The is beautiful well kept and right on the river. We were in to visit our son at Bucknell University. The house was so close to campus. We hope to return again soon.
