Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Ulvik Municipality

Our stay here was incredible. We booked for 4 people but this place could easily accommodate 8. The place was clean and tidy and offered everything we needed and more, with beautiful surroundings and a private and authentic feel. Things like extra towels, a pantry with some basic items like rice and pasta, food in the freezer and an easy to use washing machine and dryer really made us feel well looked after. We stayed when temperatures were between -10 and -18 Celsius but the house always felt cosy. The nearest Ski bus stop is a 7-10 minute walk away and the nearest supermarket and ‘town’ area are a 25 minute walk away. If you enjoy walking then the location is fine but we opted to hire a car from the airport to use for our transfers which I would highly recommend. This made collecting ski hire, shopping and travelling to the different slopes much easier as there is lots of parking areas. 10/10 stay. I have already recommended to friends and family.

Maison très agréable dans un environnement sublime. Le plus bel endroit où nous avons séjourné ! Parfaitement équipée, on a manqué de rien que ce soit pour la cuisine, les chambres, salle de bain ou le reste de la vie domestique. Le feu était même prêt à être allumé dans la cheminée. Margrethe a été très gentille et nous a aidé quand nous en avons eu besoin, encore merci pour tout ! Si on pouvait mettre 6 étoiles on le ferait. On rêve déjà de revenir !

We had a very nice stay at the house. The host is a very friendly woman and we felt very welcomed. The area is breathtaking and the house has the perfect view over the water and the beautiful nature of Norway.

Dit is echt een prachtig ruim huis en van alle gemakken voorzien. Wel drie terassen buiten waar je heerlijk kunt zitten. Hele fijne keuken en gezellige woonkamer met een heerlijke bank. In de omgeving veel te doen, het huis ligt precies tussen Voss en Flåm in. Super aardige hosts.

Amazing views, very comfortable and roomy with ample storage for luggage and clothes. This was our favorite place we stayed during our trip to Norway. Our kids loved being able to jump into the fjord. I loved drinking my coffee on the upper patio in the morning. Wish we would’ve booked one more night there. Highly recommend.

Das Haus ist bestens eingerichtet und tipp-topp sauber. Jan Helge ist sehr hilfsbereit und spricht auch noch gut deutsch.

Hebben hier 4 fijne dagen gehad. Schoon en ruim huis en heerlijk dat de bedden van te voren zijn opgemaakt. Helen woont er naast en is een fijne gastvrouw, staat altijd voor je klaar. Puntjes van aandacht, wasmachine zit niet in het huisje zelf maar bij Helen onder haar huis en om bij één van de slaapkamers te komen, moet je door een andere slaapkamer. Maar heerlijk huis.

Logement très bien situé, avec une magnifique vue sur le fjord et les montagnes juste en sortant dehors. Le magasin Bunnpris est juste à côté donc très pratique pour ls courses et se faire à manger. Le logement est conforme à la description, nous avions le nécessaire pour faire la cuisine et se reposer le soir après les balades et sorties la journée. On entends facilement le bruit à l'extérieur (dans la rue), par exemple camion de livraison le matin mais cela ne nous a pas déranger pour nous.

Fantastisk opphold – føltes som hjemme! Overnattingsstedet var veldig koselig, rent og fullt utstyrt med alt man trenger. Kjøkkenet hadde alle nødvendige redskaper, og det var mange muligheter for underholdning – svømmebasseng, brettspill og bordtennis. Området var fantastisk med vakker utsikt og flotte omgivelser for turer. Verten var veldig hjelpsom, og vi fikk muligheten til sen utsjekking, noe som var svært praktisk. Vi anbefaler dette stedet på det varmeste og kommer gjerne tilbake! ❤️

Belle étape à Geilo dans ce joli appartement entre Oslo et Bergen. Appartement de qualité avec de nombreux services correspondant à la description (piscine, sauna, jeux pour les enfants, etc.). Hôte très réactif. Appartement au pied des pistes pour ceux qui y viendraient l’hiver. À recommander.

perfect size for two people, perfect location to myrkdalen resort (easy beautiful ~15 minute drive), good water pressure, space efficient, heated bathroom floors, ample storage. Adequately equipped kitchen (kettle, paper towels, napkins, cutlery and plates, fridge, etc.). Has everything you would need for a short trip. Ample EV charging stations as well. Would come again for the views and value for $!

Świetny apartament. Dwie łazienki. Wszystko co potrzebne może być podczas weekendowego pobytu i nie tylko, jest dostępne w apartamencie. Jedyny minus dla nas to bardzo miękki materac na łóżku podwójnym. Dużo szafek komód, telewizja, mikser i wiele różnych rzeczy dostępnych w mieszkaniu. Ładowarki dla samochodów elektrycznych. Basen i części wspólne mógłby by być w lepszym stanie jeśli chodzi o czystość.

Excellent apartment in Highland Lodge with great hosts too. We really like the the private feeling at the top floor and the amazing view of the valley and mountains. The kitchen is super well equipped and comfortable furniture in the entire apartment (they even have a baby crib and Trip Trap chair for toddlers). Monica is also a great host making you feel very welcome. Can highly recommend staying with her.

Great apartment centrally located in Geilo. Great for families with axcess to pool, sauna and playroom. Nice bakery and restaurants at the hotel. Would recomend to stay here.

Sehr schön gelegene Unterkunft. Wir hatten viel Schnee und haben sehr viele Polarlichter gesehen. Die Unterkunft konnten wir gut erreichen,es war aber sehr hilfreich das Eirik uns Schneeschuhe geliehen hat. Man muss gut zu Fuß sein um zum Ferienhaus zu kommen. Der Ausblick ist toll. Die Kommunikation war sehr gut.

Our stay at this cozy cabin was absolutely fantastic! Nestled in a serene and picturesque location, it offered the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The cabin itself was impeccably clean and well-maintained, with a charming rustic decor that made it feel like a true home away from home. The amenities were excellent – the kitchen was fully stocked with all the essentials, the living area was warm and inviting with a beautiful fireplace, and the beds were extremely comfortable. I especially enjoyed the outdoor space; the deck provided stunning views of the surrounding nature and was a great spot for morning coffee or evening relaxation as well as fishing.

Vi var en kollegagjeng som hadde vårt andre besøk på dette nydelige stedet til Maria. Vi koste oss i den nydelig hagen og badet i sjøen rett utenfor hagen. En perle. Anbefales absolutt

Vi hadde et flott helge-opphold på denne sjarmerende og nostalgiske hytten. Beliggenheten på Norges tak og utsikten til Jøkulen er prima! Kristin er en hyggelig og vennlig vert. Vi kommer gjerne tilbake.

When reading the previously written review, it feels like the place is not worth renting. But when we arrived it was a great deal. Our host Paul was very responsive and always helpful. The place is great for up to 4 people. The kitchen ist well equipped for small meals. The beds are comfy and enough to explore around the area, even at -2 °C. The indoor oven gives enough heat, but there are also two electric heaters. The view every morning ist stunning. We would definitely go again.

Lovely house equipped with everything you need and offering the most incredible view of the fjord! Good bedrooms, large bathroom and spacious living areas. John is a great host and he is really easy to get in touch with. Check-in and check-out are simple and give plenty of flexibility! We had a fantastic stay!
