This very traditional Norwegian cabin is situated just a brief drive from Tromsø, nestled in the quaint fishing village of Oldervik. Positioned to showcase breathtaking views of the renowned Lyngen Alps, it could easily be considered one of the most spectacular vistas globally. This cabin is a photographer's dream, offering an abundance of captivating subjects in close proximity, making it an ideal retreat for those who relish exploring the surrounding natural beauty. The cabin has 4 bedrooms.

Authentic and Romantic Lodge close to nature

Authentic and romantic lodge originally built of timber and used for the first time back in 1850 as housing for as many as 10 persons. Situated between the sea and the forest and with the northern light as only light in the dark season this might be the perfect place to enjoy North of Norway. The perfect match for a couple, but will also function very well for up to four persons. It is renovated to a modern standard in 2018, with focus on maintaining the heart and soul of the old building.

Northern lights wintertimes, midnight sun summertimes. Spectacular hiking tours all year. Enjoy the Lyngen area while staying in our cosy cabin. We have 3 bedrooms that sleeps up to 6 people, a fully equipped kitchen, a fireplace, a smart tv and a jacuzzi where you can enjoy the amazing view of the fjord and mountains. If the skies are clear, it may be possible that the northern lights will keep you company aswell. There is a beautiful hiking trail that starts just outside the cabin and it is a good location for ski touring in the winter.

Cathedral Lodge

This house looks like a little cathedral, and lies only a five minutes walk from the centre of Tromsø. Large windows in the front gives a magnificent view of the city, the sea and the Mountains. The house was finished in 2019. We have choosen exclusive materials and design furniture. You’ll see that it’s made by heart. Helga, the host, lives in the house next door, and is readily available.
