The place is just like the pictures, beautiful space to hang around and cook in and close to the center of San Marcos, which was super convenient. The person who greeted us was super nice and helped us with our bags. I will caution, you have to climb a hundred steep steps to get to you cabin. They don't have a fan in the room so we slept with the door open to get some breeze but the town is very loud at night so that made it difficult to get a good night's sleep but it's not the hosts fault. Overall worth it!

Everyone was so helpful on the property. Israel especially. He went out to get us pizza one night, coffee, etc. and was a huge help in case there was ever a need. The hike up was intense, so make sure you're prepared for that, but I promise when you reach the top it is soooo worth it. The views were stunning. We had a great time here.

I stayed at Julio's place with my husband and 2 kids. It was a blast! We really enjoyed it! Most beautiful view in that area around the lake ! Julio is very responsible,helpful and friendly as all his stuff! I Would recommend it to all!

Custom Casita with Volcano Views

Our stay at Casa Girasol was amazing! The home is so beautiful and charming, like a dream treehouse. The energy felt very warm and authentic. Waking up to the sounds of the jungle never got old, we loved spending our time enjoying the balcony and front porch. The bedrooms were nice and clean. The kitchen was easy to use and maintain. The trees and garden surrounding the home were nice to explore. It was a fairly easy and short walk to and from Gaia Dance temple. Only thing is there were frequently neighbors and workers walking through the property though so be mindful of that when it comes to privacy and security. Would absolutely recommend a stay here to anyone who finds themselves in Tzununa.
