Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Tysnes Municipality

There were two of us for about 1 week in the lovingly renovated Skolehus of Mette and Jan. Like the other vacationers, we find the location directly on the Sund with the fascinating view unique! Special thanks also to Mette for the tips to explore the area and the kindness. The house is extremely clean and really nicely decorated. The outdoor facilities (2 wooden terraces: one directly by the house and also one downstairs directly by the water) are very nice. We will keep the Skolehus in our hearts!

It is a very nice and cozy cabin with everything you need both inside and outside. The outdoor area was very nice with a cozy garden and beautiful views. Well arranged for sitting outside and with possibilities for shielding from the wind. The view from the living room and garden was fantastic. The host was available at all times and gave us fantastic information about everything in the cabin and outside, which saved us time to figure things out. Everything was in good condition both outside and inside, including safety inside in relation to fire safety. There was a boat available that worked very well, caught a lot of fish. Great hiking opportunities and shops easily accessible. We were 5 couples of friends who had a fantastic long weekend at the cabin. Suitable for children there too.

Top accommodation with 100% referral A very nice house in an early location. Very good for relaxing and for activities. We were 2 adults and 3 children. Space is abundant and the house is very tastefully furnished. Fabulous view. Boat for fishing with its own jetty. One of the best houses we have had so far. Jorunn is a very nice and helpful person. I, my partner and our dog were here in connection with the Stord handball festival. Here you will have a peaceful and relaxing holiday with great nature and wildlife right outside the window. On one evening, there were 10-12 deer outside the cabin. In the cabin you have everything you need and a little more. Short distance to Fitjar city center, and about 30 min to Stord. Recommended :)

There was only one problem. The communication didn't work between Airbnb and Novasol. My messages didn't get through to the owner and the description about getting in was incorrect.

Simply wow!! This house is amazing, it offers anything you’d wish for! The view is stunning and especially the boat/boathouse made our trip whole. Considering the price, I would always come back and can only recommend! The only thing I would note is the communication with the company Novasol (or the lack of). They were extremely slow to respond and even gave us wrong information. In our case, they told us one day in advance that there are no sheets and linen, which were in fact at the house (positive surprise). All in all: I can only recommend this amazing place, be prepared for a small effort if you need to communicate anything specific but in any other case, book and enjoy!

We spent 5 nights in the cabin and had some incredibly nice days there. We were very lucky with the weather and got to use the large nice terrace a lot as we like to sit outside when the weather is nice. The kitchen had everything you needed for cooking when you weren't grilling on the terrace. Very cozy cottage and close to nice hiking areas and a small beach. It is probably an advantage to have a car since there are few buses here, but it was fine to go into Våge.

Very cosy home! Although it’s far away from the city, it is a very beautiful place. Host is also very lovely!

This a true gem 💎 they have numerous rabbits on the property and the place was really spacious and clean. Very relaxed stay and would recommend.

We felt very much at home. A great accommodation with a very nice garden and a picturesque view. Fortunately, we had perfect sunshine, so we enjoyed the view and the sun extensively. There is even a washing machine and laundry rack, in addition to a well-equipped kitchen. The bed was very comfortable and the huge TV also invites you to end the evening on the couch. A very great accommodation and an easily accessible and friendly host. We will be happy to come back. Matthias & Sophia

The place was easy to find and check in was straightforward. The parking lot is right at the property and nice and large. Unfortunately, the larger bed is only 120 cm wide, so it is not suitable for two people.

We had a lovely time and the hosts were super helpful and friendly :)

Marita and Tomas are very nice, warm people. Marita greeted us upon arrival and showed us around and explained things (e.g., how to access the kayaks) in a very clear and unhurried way. They both did a fantastic job communicating with us before our arrival, and provided lots of helpful advice while there (e.g., recommendation of a wonderful restaurant in Bergen). Although Tomas and Marita live on the floor above the Airbnb flat, we never felt “crowded” by them. In fact, at my request, Tomas was able to respond immediately to come down to help us figure out the TV…and he was incredibly good natured about it. Location was terrific, too: close to Bergen and all it offers, including the focal museums, as well as minutes from an excellent University of Bergen arboretum & botanical garden. Highly recommend this place, as well as Tomas & Marita as people!

This house was an absolute dream for a family with young kids! The location is fantastic, the kids amenities cannot be beat! The rooms upstairs are perfect for kids but were challenging for adults with the slanted ceilings (also we have some neck/back injuries and the beds upstairs aren’t the most comfortable). Parts of the house, and amenities (bikes) are well used and in need of replacing but would still highly recommend this place! Linda was incredibly responsive and helpful the duration of the stay. My family had the most incredible trip!

We loved our stay at Espen’s house. A magnificent view on the village and bay. The house is well equipped, modern and spacious. We made a boat trip to the fishing farm and enjoyed our lunch in the restaurant at sea. Espen is a very friendly host.

We had 5 adults staying at Petter's wonderful home in Fyllingsdalen. The views alone is worth the stay. The location worked will for our group when we had some needing to be at the sailing center, wanting to go into Bergen center or needing to pick up and drop off at the airport. Two grocery stores within walking distance and as well as a large shopping center and restaurants. There is a bus stop at the bottom of the drive way (2 min) walk, that can take you to the shopping center if you don't want to walk and to the public tram system. The home had everything we needed for our stay. Easy coffee drip system as well as an electric foamer and Nespresso. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking and bbq. We enjoyed the 2 large terraces and had great fun with the dinghy boat. the home had comfortable chairs for reading and L shape sofa for TV view or conversations. Petter did a marvelous job with keeping up with our communicates when we had to make changes to our stay.

We were 6 adults and 5 kids here for a weekend. It was absolutely phenomenal for both adults and small and big enough that we felt we had a lot of room around us. It was adapted to the smallest ones as well, with stair gates and little pø that could be ruined. There were also toys in the room above the garage so the little ones could bike and slide slide. Recommended!

Kari's home is in a spectacular location, right on the waterfront, with calm and cool waters. We had a wonderful time with the children exploring rocks and beaches and swimming. The house is well set up, very cosy and welcoming. I couldn't recommend it more for a relaxing few days.
