The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need for washing dishes and cooking. The balcony has a seating area and a lovely view over Tyinvannet. Side by side with the apple trees in an old, organic orchard – the oldest part on our farm, «Fretheim Gard» – you'll find it: Beautifully situated by the fjord in Flåm, only a short walk from the center of Flåm and station area. The cabin is architect-designed by Stiv Kuling and was completed in 2023. It's built entirely of Norwegian pine. A modern, bright, and comfortable cabin with stunning views, a peaceful location, and close to hiking trails and natural attractions.

Flåm Retreat's minihouse is a sustainable and exclusive cabin designed by Snøhetta, with a focus on reducing human impact on nature. Here you can recharge your batteries completely for yourself, with friends or family. The cabin is 500 meters from E16. It has bathing facilities, good fishing, and rowing boat available. There is a solar cell and a refrigerator and otherwise good solutions for water and toilet. There is no shower, so the body wash must be taken in Vangsmjøsa. On quiet evenings, the campfire area offers views of Vangsmjøsa and Grindane.
