Tsushima White House - Tatami Room

Tsushima is a very long island from north to south (2 hours by car from top to bottom!) This guest house is located in Hitakatsu, at the northern entrance. Hitakatsu is just over an hour by boat to Busan, Korea's second largest city. We lived in Seoul, Korea from 2011-2017, but were fascinated by the border island of Tsushima and moved here. Here you can farm, go to the beach, camp, and occasionally travel around the island… I think I've enjoyed the best of Tsushima. There may not be any prominent tourist attractions, but there are plenty of hidden spots and itineraries with an indescribable charm. I think it's a great place for those who want to explore the quietly standing villages and the nature unique to the island, unlike the places that are made into tourist destinations.
