Holiday rentals with beach access in Tropea

Vincenzo was super nice, picked us up from the train station and took us there on departure. He explained the area to us very well on the way to the apartment, so we quickly found our way around. The apartment is well equipped. We enjoyed our breakfast every morning on the balcony with sea views.

An excellent apartment in a friendly and genuine village … We’ve just returned from a superb holiday in the village of Santa Domenica. What a great apartment. Spacious and well equipped, super clean, with a decent balcony and pool with a sun bathing area. No negatives for us at all. Everything we needed food wise was in the village ; a couple of supermarkets, a really good food/bric a brac market on Mondays, a bakery, fishmonger (that serves meals also), cafe/bars, 4/5 restaurants (Il Casale was our favourite). We used Santa Domenica as a base for a few days out to Pizzo and Scilla (both beautiful and, we thought, easily as nice as Tropea. A number of beaches are accessible from Santa Domenica but these involve walks which aren’t always easy when it’s 30+ degrees. And our host ? Teresa was ace. Picked us up from the Railway Station, gave us loads of decent recommendations and responded immediately to any questions we had. A great holiday !

The apartment is very clean and equipped with all comforts and is in a great location, in a quiet village. We were greeted by Mr. Francesco, father of the host Andrea who provided us with all the necessary directions for the stay. Andrea made us find in the house a very specific guide on restaurants and places to eat as well as places and beaches to visit. We had a great time, had a nice vacation and I highly recommend it.

We had a fantastic stay in this beautiful Tropea apartment. The balcony view was like a dream — watching the sunset each evening with our kids was unforgettable. Its location was perfect, just off Corso Vittorio Emanuele with plenty of dining options, and steps away from the beach and port. The apartment is spacious, tastefully decorated, and the hosts were incredibly welcoming. Highly recommended!

We were happy with the apartment. It was cozy, comfortable, clean and quite modern. In particular, we enjoyed sitting on the peaceful, sunny terrace amidst blooming plants and run-away lizards. Stepping through the backdoor of the terrace, it took just a very short walk to Pizzo beach, which was like a lonely planet in mid- October. Liudmyla was very hospitable and provided useful information before check-in. Apart from a short power failure on a rainy day we had a perfect stay at Marinella. Strongly recommended!

My partner and I are traveling for two months (while working) and it's been our best experience with Airbnb. We've never had such a lovely host. He gave us clear instructions for check-in, but welcomed us in person and showed us the best places to eat and tips for getting around the city. I was ill and, not only wrote to ask if I had got better, but also helped me buy medication. The house was far from the noise and movement of the center, which we loved, but we were still very close and went out to eat in the city - which is gorgeous, we left completely in love. We spent the morning on the beach, worked from the apartment in the afternoon and went out for a walk in the evening. We want to have the opportunity to go back on vacation and enjoy the city more. Thank you for hosting us, Pasquale. You were sensational and we loved your space.

A great apartment in the middle of the old town of Pizzo, therefore only accessible on foot. But a very quiet location and a great terrace. It had everything you needed. We were received and said goodbye in a very friendly manner. In addition, Francesco, who was always available, gave us great tips for localities, whether for ice cream, aperitivo, pizza, pasta or fish. Thank you, it was perfect!

The apartment is very well located in the heart of Tropea’s old town, with the most beautiful sea-view. There are several very good restaurants nearby. It was quite hot and there was only one fan. Would have been nice to have had a second one, especially at night. Other than that, we can highly recommend this spacious and very well equipped apartment. Massimo was more than helpful with everything. He gave us many good recommendations where to eat, grocery shopping, etc.

We were two at Silvio's and enjoyed the stay very much. There was a large bed and a large, very comfortable sofa bed. We were able to park in front of the house on the street and explore the area from there. Silvio was always a very friendly host for us, who could also help us with the purchase of a property. Pizzo and the surrounding area are worth a trip, beautiful old town and many very good restaurants (be sure to eat the pistachio tartuffo at Dante's) with wonderfully long secluded beaches. We will be happy to come back.

Andrea and his family are very helpful and the communication was very good! The facility is simple, but functional and quite in accordance with the description and pictures. The location and the view are truly exceptional!!! Actually, you hardly have to leave the accommodation, because the sea is literally at your feet. A very relaxing and beautiful short break for us. Therefore 5 stars 🌟

Fantastic location, beautiful virtually private beach on the doorstep. A short drive from Tropea and local shops and restaurants. simple clean well equipes no frills accomodation.

Adriano was realy helpful, he drove us to the train so we did not have to carry our bags. The appartment is located in the center, close to everything. And the view from the appartments is absolut wonderful.

Wonderful location - private, serene, and gorgeous. Philip and Antonia were lovely hosts, they took care to provide lots of recommendations and explain the house. The house itself is beautiful and had all the necessities for us to stay in and cook for the week, especially using the sweet local red onions! The view is incredible and the private beach was our daily exercise - we loved it! We'll be back!

This place is a gem!!! Includes an adorable home with multiple outdoor dining areas, pool (shared between a couple of villas), and a stunning private beach (down 400 steps but well worth it!). Our mixed age group (2 year old, 92 year old and 3 adults) absolutely loved it! Was a beautiful escape and felt like we were getting a taste of the region. We loved spending time at the pool and cooking in the kitchen. For those who may have trouble with stairs - one bedroom is ground floor, two are upstairs. It is only a few minutes drive from some great restaurants, and 20 minute drive to Tropea. Definitely recommend having a car if you stay here.

Lovely apartment - exactly like the photos. Very clean and tastefully furnished. The outside terrace (furniture and views) were amazing! Would recommend! Car definitely required.

What a lovely studio! Even though you have to get the keys from Rachael (no self check in); nevertheless she’s very responsive and accommodative. I will definitely stay again when I return to the area.

The apartment is finished in every detail. There is an air conditioner for the living area and one for the sleeping area. The fixtures are excellent and create perfect soundproofing. There are mosquito nets, a washing machine, a clothesline, and a terrace that overlooks the sea, making you fall in love. The kitchen has everything you need, in fact, we cooked lunch and dinner for the whole week we stayed. Perfection does not exist, but this Airbnb needs an excellence that we have never encountered to lose the right to be considered perfect. We felt at home in contact with the sea that we love so much.

If you are considering this property, look no further! We were so comfortable, wonderful kitchen, spacious living room with a view that must be one of the best in Tropea! The apartment is flooded with light! Alexei provided snacks, milk, yogurt, prosecco, fruit, simple breakfast pastries, juice, water, everything you need to start a wonderful relaxing trip to Tropea! The town is absolutely beautiful, with endless cafes and shops. The beach is very close and one of the most beautiful I’ve seen in all my travels! We’re already dreaming of a return to Tropea, and when we do, this property will be our first choice!

Francesco and his mother Caterina were extraordinary hosts. Communication was excellent from the beginning and they were always attentive to our comfort during our stay. The neighborhood was quiet and very close to the beach on foot. I emphasise how clean all the rooms were, even the smallest detail was shiny and fragrant. Thank you very much!! We would definitely come back

We had a fabulous stay in this fantastic appartment. the place itself is super spacious, Bright, clean, with an amazing sunset view on Stromboli, much better equipped (kitchen and bathroom) than most places we had stayed before, at a walking distance from all the best city spots (beaches, restaurants, train station..). Giacomo and the team was super flexible, welcoming and helpful, very reactive at any time. we would love to come back!

The view from the balcony was wonderful! The pictures of this apartment don’t do it justice. The balcony was big enough for two to enjoy coffee or wine. Really felt like a local but had enough restaurants around. Everything was walkable up and down hill. The apartment was not so big, but very comfortable for two. Can’t say much about how the kitchen worked, because who wants to cook when so much Italian food is at your doorstep? However, we were there the day many things closed down at the beginning of November. Still, we found good places to eat. Would recommend this apartment.
