If there is clear weather, it will dance in the sky directly from the living room window. Many unique hiking destinations on foot and by boat that the host can inform about if needed and have maps available in the house.

If you want to live close to nature - but with a short distance to the city center and shopping center this is the place for you. The apartment is newly restored and located in a quiet residential area with hiking trail,ski slope and mountains in the immediate vicinity. On good evenings you can experience spectacular northern lights…..Short distance to bus which takes 10 min to airport, 12 min to Jekta shopping center and about 25 min to Tromsø city centre. By car it takes about 10-12 to the city center.

The apartment is located in the amazing Folkeparken, the largest public park and protected area on the island. The park has hiking trails, and cross country skiing in the winter. Telegrafbukta is located within the park, witch is known as a great place to experiance the northern lights. Other usefull amenities closeby include: gym and busstops 200 meters, Tromsø museum 550 m, grocery store 1,2 km and city center is within walking distance. Beautiful and rustic house by the sea in the countryside 1 hrs drive from the city of Tromsø. The area is great for hiking, skiing, fishing and watcing the midnight sun in the summer and aurora borealis during winter. For a fee, our guests can also book the ocean sauna hot tub facilities , with a woodfired hot-tub and sauna placed on a big outdoor deck with a fireplace and a cosy indoor chill-zone. Guests can use our 12ft rowing boat and some fishing gear for free during the summerseason.

You can go directly from the tiny house to the mountain or into the valley of Tromsdalen, this will give you easy access to see the northern lights. It is a few minuts to the bus who takes you to the senter of Tromsø (10-15 min. by bus) and you can also walk (30-40 min)
