Holiday rentals with lake access in Trinity County

Our stay was Perfect! Comfy Beds, Great Layout and Beautiful view. We enjoyed fishing off the dock and our Host even left us some bait. We loved every minute. Peaceful Neighborhood. Nice, Relaxing, week at the lake!!! We will definitely be back!

The stay at Robert’s place was perfect. We will definitely book again when we need accommodations. The home is very well maintained, clean and had everything that we needed. The area was awesome with great water views and lots of wildlife. We enjoyed watching the deer walking around and eating everyday. We would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to stay in the area.

Eddie was a great host, always responsive and honest . The place was beautiful, although the amenities were little bit outdated, it provided the necessary facilities and spaces and beds we were looking for. Simple living. The property and views were picturesque, and the moments and memories our family captured will be unforgettable. From the tree swing by the lake, the bbq pits and griddles, to the Kayaks that Eddie provided, we are very grateful. Thank you Eddie for letting us stay. We will definitely be back.

This lovely home was exactly as pictured and described. The home was full of amenities- you could show up with just your toothbrush and have a wonderful lake weekend. Comfortable beds and serene surroundings. My kids enjoyed the kayaks and fishing off of the dock. We went in December, so no swimming for us.

Great place to stay with family. Kids had a great time kayaking, fishing, and the game room. Mindy is a great host, very responsive, honest, and clear instructions. She even sent pictures of water levels before our arrival. Higgly recommend, and we would definitely stay here again.

There were nine of us and overall, the house worked great for our two families. It was comfortable and roomy. The kitchen worked well for preparing a large Thanksgiving meal! Thanks for a memorable family Thanksgiving gathering!

Words cannot express the family friendly atmosphere in this neighborhood. The home is impeccably clean, its location is perfect and the host is friendly and attentive. We tried out our new boat for the first time, and there was help along the way from a caring neighbor. The kids enjoyed a full day at the lake and we can’t wait to come back! Side note, the shower water pressure was amazing.

If you’re looking for peace, quiet and charm, this is the place. We really enjoyed our stay; waking up to the sounds of the frogs and birds is magical, and morning coffee on the porch is the perfect way to start a day. During the day you can birdwatch or fish from the bulkheads; we even saw a small alligator in the marshy area. At night you can see a million stars from the beach- and fireflies in the coastline areas! The house is so clean and tidy, everything was exactly as described in the listing. Jenna is an AMAZING host, her communication is very clear and so easy to follow. She’s put together a great binder of local things to do and places to go which was very helpful. Highly recommend this lovely lake cabin and will definitely be back for another restful weekend away.

We had a great relaxing weekend at the house. Everything was as described. The house is much larger inside than you would think from looking at it. Very spacious and plenty of deck and outdoor space. The HotTub was relaxing as well. We spent most of the time at the pier fishing where we always got a bite and caught many fish. Our trip was too short, next time I’ll make sure to get a Monday checkout so we can enjoy it more! Hosts were very quick to answer any questions I had. Overall, a great place to take the family to relax over the weekend and plenty of space for each child to bring a friend!

Our stay at The White House was comfortable, peaceful and enjoyable. The views of the yard and lake from the living room were beautiful. The couches were a perfect place to relax at the end of the day. We will likely come back to the area in a year’s time for the same event and we all agreed we would gladly stay at the White House again.

Had a great Memorial weekend with the family at Miguel’s place. Was right by the water with boat ramp and pier for fishing. Caught a few fish but the water had a lot of debris there floating through but other than that it was good. We had fun with the games up stairs and in the downstairs room. They have axes and ninja stars to throw at the bullseye. Plastic of course but still fun and they also had corn hole as well. It was very peaceful and relaxing and we enjoyed our stay.

My kids loved the old cabin feel, and even in the hot Texas heat. Those trees gave us plenty of shade to run around and watch the birds from the deck. There was nothing like reading a book and having a view of lake with an ice cold beverage.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at this cabin! It was clean, beautifully maintained, and comfortably cool thanks to the two A/C units—perfect for hot days. The kitchen was fully stocked (just missing a cutting board, but that wasn’t a big deal), and fresh towels and linens were provided. Wi-Fi was also available, which was a nice bonus. We loved fishing right behind the large, beautiful pool—just steps from the bank. I’d recommend bringing a couple of lawn chairs to relax while you fish. The on-site bar and restaurant offered excellent service, and the pool itself was fantastic. The restrooms near the pool were impressively clean and spacious—honestly gave off Buc-ee’s vibes! The location is super convenient, with a Brookshire Brothers just 5–8 minutes away and Walmart about 20 minutes out. We truly enjoyed everything about our stay—the location, the hospitality, and all the amenities. We’re already planning to come back with the family again!

Our stay at Lagoon Ranch was great. We had our 8 month old with us and they even provided a bed rail for the bunk bed. The cabins were clean and brand new. A little bare on the decor, we only had one twin size blanket to share A/c worked great in the Texas heat, the resort pool was really nice and it was great having a restaurant on the premises. The Arcade was not ready and the mercantile was a little light on items. The WiFi was not strong enough so could not use the two tvs in the cabin. I also felt the pool bar was unkept for what I expected of a resort. I was kind of expecting some music and an active swim up pool bar but it was a little dead, and not very clean, once it finally opened the bar wasn’t wiped down from all of the bugs that had died on the bar the night before. Also would have loved if they had scheduled some live music on their stage for Friday nights, but that is preference from parents who don’t get out much and it would have been nice to see some activity.
