Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Trent Hills

Our stay was more than we could have asked for. This Airbnb is a hidden gem. We’ve been to many Airbnbs all over the world, and I can tell you this one is really special. The garden is very spacious, with friendly little cows in the background. The inside is also spacious thanks to the beautiful high ceilings. The decor and original church aesthetic they kept makes you feel at home. The outdoor annex for extra guests is so cozy and cute!! it really comes in handy if you are more than two. This Airbnb truly has everything a household needs, from bug spray to doggy bags. We’re usually honest and critical about Airbnbs, and we don’t shy away from pointing out things that could be improved, but with this one, we truly have nothing bad to say. We would come back in a heartbeat!

The nortehaus was definitely an inspiring and well designed space we enjoyed. Nestled in the middle of nature, you can definitely feel the calmness and quietness of it all. Parker was responsive and made sure our stay was seamless. Would book again!

Highly recommend Prince’s place! It was exactly as described, was in a great location and was extremely well equipped. Prince was super communicative and checkin/out was quite simple. Great spot for a weekend away!

Fantastic!! We left Josh’s, ended up having to stay in the area a few more days, we re booked, he took us immediately. Since we were still inn the area, we requested an earlier check in and it was no problem. Thanks again Josh!!!

Beautiful place to stay!

Amazing space with cool technology and a quiet, relaxing get away. The hot tub was amazing underneath the moon and stars . Would go again for the experience and the memories

This is our second stay in this lovely home and once again, it was excellent. Linda’s communication makes everything easy and the feeling of ‘home away from home’ makes for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. We look forward to our next visit!

Quel beau séjour nous avons eu chez Gwendoline! L'emplacement est parfait, bien central dans ce beau Prince Edward County. Et Wellington est une jolie ville bien vivante. L'appartement est lumineux et impeccable. Très charmant de surcroît. Sans oublier notre hôte. Gwen est sympathique, avenante et discrète à la fois, un avantage certain quand on vit sous un même toit. Un 5☆ de plus pour l'endroit aménagé juste pour nous au bord du lac, avec chaises longues et table pour bien profiter de ce magnifique lac. We enjoyed our stay in Picton. It was nice to have a pass to visit Sandbanks, which was the highlight of our stay. Denise & Mike were very proactive in communicating instructions, amenities and local attractions. We would stay at their property again.

We enjoyed our stay at The Lodge immensely. Each room in the apartment is large, uncluttered and well appointed. The check-in instructions were detailed and the check-in experience was smooth. Having access to two parking spots was a bonus. Corey was responsive and friendly. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. Robin’s house was located very close to all the arena’s in Peterbourgh. We were there to watch our grandson play lacrosse. Hopefully they will return next year to this tournament. I will definetly be rebooking Robin’s loft. It was just as advertised. I also appreciated the selection of coffees. Merci à Candace pour le temps de réponse. L'arrivée était très facile et le logement tout à fait agréable. Tout était comme prévu et les photos rendent bien justice à la qualité du lieu. Tout était propre et juste assez grand pour nous deux. Tout se fait bien à pied pour les choses courantes (Garden Market juste derrière le LCBO à découvrir), les restos (plusieurs intéressants), le Métro, la boucherie, bref c'est un endroit où rester sans problème pour une durée d'une semaine (ou plus) comme ce fut notre cas. Ne pas oublier les vignobles (wow!). Amateurs de courtepointes, nous avons aussi découvert que cette région regorge de «barn quilts», ces blocs de courtepointes peintes et appliquées sur les bâtiments et qui ont des significations pour chacune des familles qui les affiche. C'est une pratique héritée des immigrants européens. Il y a même une application web qui permet de les suivre tout en visitant la région de Prince-Edouard. Dans la zone de Picton, il y en aurait une centaine!

We really enjoyed our stay at Gordana’s! They checked in with us daily to make sure everything is going well. Little chocolates were left on the bed, the bathroom and kitchen were spotless, everything was exactly as photographed. We’d definitely come back to their place when we visit Belleville again!

An excellent apartment in a great location with extremely helpful hosts. We would definitely stay here again.

The accommodations at one time were beautiful. The house is large with many beautiful features (huge kitchen with all the amenities), large master bedroom and private en-suite, large deck with a view of the lake, and updated gas BBQ. The lake is absolutely beautiful as well. In fact, it’s one of the nicest lakes we have visited. However, the house needs a deep clean, some TLC and updating. All the screens to the doors were broken, some drawers in the kitchen were separating from their surfaces, dead bugs lay on the window sills, the floors could use a good scrub, there is a hole in the gangway to the dock, and the ladder to the dock is loose and unsafe to use. We were told there were two canoes. One was in great shape and even had seats with backs. The other should be laid to rest, as it literally was falling apart. We also found out that we could not dock a boat there because of a dispute with a neighbor. Unfortunately, the dryer broke down while we were there. We suspect that it had never been cleaned as the filter would not go in completely from all the lint and debris from years of use. We had paid for a cleaning service, but were informed a few days before arrival that the service was not available due to COVID-19 and that guests were expected to clean. The owner offered to cancel our reservation but at this late date we could not have arranged for new accommodations or for our own cleaning service. We had booked the accommodations for August. Surely, the information about the cleaning service was known months in advance since the pandemic started in February/March. The previous guests had cleaned our bathrooms and made the beds, but dishes were left in the dishwasher and on the drying rack, and tea towels and some bathroom towels were left dirty. We brought our own towels thankfully. On our last day, instead of enjoying our few remaining hours at the cottage, we spent four hours cleaning for the next guests, and quite honestly we could not do the thorough job of hired cleaning staff. The owner did reimburse us for the cleaning service, but we did not get back our time! With some TLC, repairs, and a real cleaning service, this place could have been a gem.

We had a wonderful time at Caroline's AirBnB! The grounds were beautiful and the home was stunning. Caroline was very responsive and easy to communicate with (the staff gave us a tour of the property, set up a fire and gave us town recommendations). I would highly recommend this property and would definitely return!

Beautiful home with classy decor. Home was cozy but scantily equipped with needed kitchen amenities. Be sure to read the house rules before booking! House rules are unnecessarily excessive, makes it uncomfortable to get that "home away from home" experience, so read the house rules before booking! Host must have had unpleasant situations with guests in the past. The house is gorgeously decorated and pristine, should be featured in a home magazine for real. Overall, we had a great stay!

We really loved our visit and wished we were able to stay longer. The space is just as you see it in the listing. It was spotless and very comfortable. The beds were very clean and comfortable. The view was breathtaking. Dave was wonderful, answering all our questions, recommending restaurants and helping when we couldn't figure out the tv. This was excellent value, a beautiful lake view and an amazing primary suite. This house was perfect for 7 adults for a long weekend away. Would recommend and would definitely stay again

David and Mimi’s place was gorgeous and had everything we needed for our stay. Great for families and kids. We enjoyed canoeing and kayaking on the private lake. They were very communicative and responsive, generous and thoughtful. We definitely recommend this place!

We recently stayed at this property while attending a graduation in Oshawa with a large group of 9 adults and 6 children. The space was spacious and able to comfortably accommodate our group, which was a huge plus. What truly stood out was how responsive and accommodating the hosts were throughout our stay. Anytime we had a concern or request, they responded promptly and made every effort to ensure we were comfortable. That level of attentiveness really made a difference for us. Overall, we had a great time and would definitely stay here again. Thank you to the hosts for being so engaged and supportive!
