This place is our sacred go-to spot when we want to get out of the city and immerse ourselves in nature. This place has special significance for our family because it was here that as a child, we would spend whole days watching over the cows, reading and dreaming as the sun moved across the sky towards dusk. We have recently completed renovations, adding solar & central heating and we would love to share it with people who are looking for a unique experience in an unexplored region of Portugal.

El Gato Negro country house

The Casa Rural El Gato Negro is situated in a unique setting in the heart of the Sanabria Natural Park. It has a room with a double bed of 1.35 cm and another with two single beds of 90 cm. It has a bathroom with shower with screen, toilet and sink. The kitchen and living room occupy the same space with direct access to the porch and garden. The house is equipped with all kinds of utensils, linens, towels and some toiletries. It also has a fireplace and barbecue.
