Located in the town next to Narai-juku, Nakasendo's post town, a historic town that has flourished as a region for lacquerware from the Edo period.It was built in 1931 in this town, which has been designated as a Jūdenzensetsu Conserved Area and still has many lacquerware shops. Our house is available for one group per day, without meals, and as a whole house rental.It takes a little time to get around, and there are no supermarkets or convenience stores in this area, but I think that's why this place has a quietness and a casual, simple beauty to everyday life.It would be nice if you could stay like living in this old town, such as reading, walking, local sake (sake, wine), and sleeping slowly. There are no screen doors in this old house in the valley, so in the warmer seasons, wildlife may come in.The 95-year-old building is not polished to a high shine down to the last detail.We are preparing to welcome you as clean as possible, but we would appreciate it if you could come with a big heart. We use the accommodation fees we receive from guests to repair the building, and I would like to start by taking care of this wonderful house for about 20 years so that it can be passed on to the next generation.

 It is a quiet location where you can see the stars right nearby, such as the observation deck that you can walk to at night, the adjacent lakeside campsite, or the garden. Indoors, you can enjoy a home theater with a projector that can be easily operated with Wi-Fi.There are no private houses next door, so you can enjoy loud music at any time. You can freely use the 84 ㎡ occupied area during your stay. You can use the washer and dryer for free, so it is also recommended for long-term stays. We have facilities that allow you to cook for yourself, so you can enjoy a stay that suits your travel plans. During the winter season (January to mid-March), snow and ice may remain on the roads near the facility.When you come, it is best to come in a car with studless tyres and, if possible, a 4WD car.

In winter, we heat the house using a wood-burning stove and solar thermal energy. How about reading in a hammock? On the property, there is an office of a construction company and a restaurant operated by the construction company, where you can also have lunch. This is a small, renovated, 100-year-old earthen storehouse in a town in Ina Valley, Nagano Prefecture, where you can see the two Alps. The inn is run by a married couple who run a design office. It is a space where we designed it ourselves, created the parts we could with our own hands, and explored the possibilities of renovating the warehouse while cultivating the power to create our own lives. This is an old house built 221 years ago, located in the center of Tsumago-juku. The 20-tatami living room has a sunken hearth (currently unavailable) and you can enjoy the old Japanese private house. There are 3 bedrooms, so you can stay with a large number of people, such as family and friends. No meals are provided. You are welcome to use the full kitchen freely. There is a backyard at the end of the dirt floor that continues from the entrance, and you can walk around freely. Equipped with WiFi and an automatic lifting table, teleworking is also possible for long-term stays. Please have a relaxing time in this quiet old house. We look forward to seeing you ！
