Holiday rentals with a kayak in Townsville City

The accomodation was beautifully presented with lots of little welcoming touches. There was plenty of space and thoughtful additions to make our stay memorable. It was exactly what we hoped it would be and more! Highly recommend if you are looking for a relaxing getaway.

We loved our stay at Cockle Bay beach house! The location and view was incredible, you walk off the front deck and step onto the beach. The bay was private and secluded, with the occasional person walking the beach or bringing in their tinny. Rachael had the place decorated beautifully, it leaned into the coastal aesthetic and included everything you could need during your stay (beach towels, bug spray + amenities). Rachael was responsive, communicative and provided all the information you could need for a great stay. The house may be a little difficult to find if you’re not familiar with Magnetic Island (Cockle Bay isn’t well signposted, especially at night) and there’s a few decent pot holes on the road into the bay so driving slow is a must. All in all we loved our private beachside stay-cay and would definitely stay again for another nature-immersed relaxation experience 🏝️🌊

Absolutely loved our stay on Magnetic Island! The house was stunning — modern, clean, and beautifully designed with open spaces and a really cool breeze flowing through, so we barely needed the aircon. It was incredibly private and comfortably fit all of us with ease. The kitchen was really well set out and had everything we needed — plenty of plates, cutlery, and all the cooking tools you’d want. The hosts were fantastic — clear instructions, super easy to find, and very responsive. And seeing the beautiful little wallabies each afternoon was such a treat! Couldn’t have asked for a better place to relax and enjoy the island. Highly recommend!

The perfect place to stay for an island getaway with a group of friends. The space was perfect for a big group! Great amenities, amazing location - short walk to the beach and right across the road from the shops. Easy communication with the host and immediately felt at home. 10/10 stay.

What beautiful home :) It really felt like home as we walked in the door, the home is in a great location close to the city and QCB stadium which was perfect for us. Definitely would recommend giving Kate's home a try. Will be back to stay in the near future.

Overall a really decent stay on the north side of magnetic island. The BnB was clean and the room was private with a lock on the door which was nice to have. One small note which I found a little odd, a 10 dollar charge to use the washing machine - this was the first time I’ve ever been charged to use a washing machine at an airBnB and I thought it was a little steep. Despite this it was a pleasant stay on a beautiful island!

great family stay in a beautiful house on the Island, short walk from Arcadia Hotel and Alma Bay. did have a running toddler who was a bit stressful to watch on the stairs and the grassed area, but otherwise was perfect.

We had a great stay, house had everything we needed and was on a convenient spot. Would stay again.
