The Chick Inn

This is a two-story, renovated barn adjacent to the chicken coop in rural Vermont with views of the forests. It has brand new floors, a new kitchenette, and fresh look. (Some renovation is still taking place.) The chicken coop is just next door but the birds are free-range and range they will. Enjoy a private, hot shower in the garden, just outside. This listing is only suitable for people comfortable with dogs, cats, and chickens which will undoubtedly greet you outside during your stay.

In the village there is a wonderful farm to table restaurant, the Gleanery. A local pub, friendly, great food with indoor and outdoor dining & pub. The General Store, is the oldest continually run general store in Vt. The Next Stage, Yellow Barn, Sandglass Theater, these places provide an amazing collection of visual, musical, spoken word and world renowned art and artist to experience. These cultural event locations are but a mile away for the Cottage I hope you choose for your stay.

This custom build apartment is located just 10 minutes from I91. In the winter you are 30 minutes away from some of the best skiing around. Located on 85 private acres with great views this is the perfect winter get away. In the summer you can relax by the firepit, hike in the woods, work in the gardens (just kidding), collect breakfast from the chickens or visit some of the local breweries. We are as close or as far away as you would like us to be with our house right next door.

Deep in the West River Valley region of Windham County, Lawrence Cottage has a gorgeous setting upon Windham Hill. If you long for serenity and beauty, we have the perfect escape for you. We are convenient to all local amenities and activities and an easy drive from Boston or New York. We are near Townshend, Jamaica and Lowell Lake State Parks, Magic Mountain, Mount Snow and Stratton Mountain Resorts. This is Vermont--of course we welcome people of all backgrounds.

LUXE Forest Retreat

Here you will experience a full sensory immersion in nature while simultaneously enjoying all the comforts of a custom built luxury home. The SY House derives its name from the Japanese expression Shinrin-yoku, which directly translates to "forest bathing... A practice of therapeutic relaxation where one spends time in a forest or natural atmosphere, focusing on sensory engagement to connect with nature." The essence of this house is nature.

Camp on our farm (and gaze at the stars)

We live on a 30 acre homestead in southern Vermont. We currently have 15 chickens, a border collie (Stevie), 2 cats, a brick pizza oven, gardens, the best star gazing you can find, and a beautiful view. Watch and listen to the birds, gaze at the stars, hang out with Stevie, or explore Southern Vermont. We live and work on the property. Our campsite allows a max of 4 people and parking for two cars.

Self-contained apt with fantastic views, outside deck & private entrance with keypad lock. Two queen bedrooms and queen sleeping loft, kitchen and open plan living room. Shared hot tub with great views. Located on a historic 38-acre working farm. If you need more space we have an adjoining apartment that sleeps 5. Apartment is above garage and attached to the main farmhouse. Maximum six guests.

We love our home on a dead end dirt road, quiet and private, yet close to all you need and want when you think of VT. Ski (Mt. Snow or Stratton), hike, swim, enjoy local fare at great restaurants or shop the Brattleboro Farmer's Market or food coop. Enjoy a swim at the covered bridge in Dummerston or at the convergence of the Rock and the West Rivers. Or drive up Newfane Hill to Kinney Pond.
