Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Torch Lake Township

Jason’s place is in a very nice area of Petoskey. It’s walkable to downtown and the beach is a stones throw away. The house is great and comfortable. Jason was a great host - kind and responsive.

Loved the place, nice and tucked away in the trees, despite the snowfall walkways and driveway were easily traversable and shoveled/plowed prior to arrival, as well as being provided with a shovel and sled wich i appreciated as well as our three year old. Had lots of fun in the snow and getting cozy and warm in the living room, enjoyed coffee in the mornings around the kitchen table enjoying the views out the slider door. Truly a great experience especially while communicating with the host, my family took a business card and will most likely stay again in the future thank you again for having us.

The hosts were very responsive and communicative. The AC kind of went out and the hosts promptly got someone out to fix it. The setting was beautiful! We enjoyed a couple days on the boat (Northaire rentals), then did day trips to Sleeping Bear Dunes and Mackinac Island and then a down day with the kayaks and SUP. My husband enjoyed fishing off the Dockside Pier. We enjoyed ice cream at Moomers, local cider at Royal Farms and our best meal at Toonie’s for Friday fish fry. Us southerners should have been better prepared for colder water and later seasons. The longer days also threw us for a loop but still a great first trip to Michigan!

Fantastic home! We loved everything about this place. Lots of space for our family of six. House was clean, stocked with lots of amenities. Linens, towels, board games, books, kitchen supplies.. We loved the beautiful view, deck, fire pit, dock, paddle board and kayak. Would definitely recommend and would love to come back!

Sarah was extremely communicative, and went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable. She even checked in on us one night to make sure we knew how to turn the heat on. (Very sweet!) The cottage is clean and comfortable, with everything you need for a long weekend. We enjoyed the fire-pit and board games! The area is gorgeous, with quick access to Traverse, Petosky, and Charlevoix. We saw lots of deer, bunnies, and squirrels, and the leaves were absolutely gorgeous! This is a GREAT little hideaway! I absolutely loved my stay at this charming studio! It had everything I needed for a comfortable and relaxing solo retreat. The setting is incredible - right on the water. The views were breathtaking, especially at sunrise, and the private sandy beach made it feel like a hidden oasis. The landscaping is gorgeous , and the beachfront seating, fire pit, and beach toys made it easy to unwind and enjoy. The patio was a perfect spot to relax with a view and peaceful atmosphere. The owners were so kind and welcoming. It felt tucked away, yet still close to everything. Truly the best of both worlds. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet, and relaxing stay with stunning setting.

My partner and I’s stay at Jeffrey and Holly’s suite was outstanding. The space felt incredibly homely, with cozy decor and thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. It was spotless and well-equipped with snacks, coffee, beach amenities, you name it - and we loved using their kayaks for exploring Silver Lake. They were friendly and provided smooth check-in instructions. The price for the area far beats any hotel we could have booked considering how comfortable, clean, and private the unit was. As other reviews said, mechanical noises and footsteps can be heard, but this did not bother us at all. We loved this unit so much, we will probably check the availability for our next trip to TC. This was hands down the best AirBNB we’ve ever stayed at. Highly recommend!

So fun for our family of 4. We enjoyed the lake and cozy accommodations. Can hear people walking and talking upstairs, which were used to and felt right at home. Thoughtful instructions made everything clear. All was spotless and clean. A real treasure!

We had a great stay for a winter ski trip. 20 min to Boyne highlands. Airbnb itself is very well stocked and well maintained. Host was responsive. One thing to keep in mind is there is a steep staircase to get to the unit that I imagine may not be suitable for all.

We had a wonderful time on our stay at this cozy cabin. It's a big win among the younger (13-11yo) family members. A "must stay here again" was the consensus. A great place to stay with a country feel. Comfortable sleeping and sitting areas. Nice little kitchen perfect for quick meals. Large bathroom and great decor throughout cabin. Great outside games available to keep the family busy.

This was the perfect location to explore Northern Michigan. It was so close to many places we wanted to visit. The resort itself had so many amenities. We loved the pools and the beautiful neighborhoods. I highly recommend it because it’s a peaceful landing spot after a day of exploring the breathtaking region.

It was a great cabin with full of things provide to do to spend the days away from home. Enough to do for days we didnt have plans to enjoy some cards around the open fire or enjoy some time in the hot tub, or have a friendly game of corn hole

We absolutely loved our stay! The cabin was cozy, peaceful, clean, and just like pictures show. It is tucked away in nature—perfect for a relaxing getaway. It felt like a home away from home. The location is ideal: close to local restaurants, a scenic bike trail, golf, and just a short, easy drive to Petoskey and Boyne City. Our host was incredibly friendly, responsive, and their sweet kids made the experience even more heartwarming. A big highlight was the Vine Ride wine tour—they picked us up right at the cabin and took us to 4 wineries, making it stress-free and memorable outing. Highly recommend this spot for nature lovers or anyone looking to unwind, explore Northern Michigan, and enjoy some great wine along the way! We will definitely come back! Craig’s cabin was absolutely beautiful and if you want to get away from all the craziness and take a moment of true peacefulness this is the place.
